Version 2 is an updated and improved version of the plugin by s0beit.
s0beit does not give two shits for firefox so I (seidweise) will be maintaining the code from now on.
s0beit still maintains the chrome plugin, we both contribute to the same git repository.

What does this plugin do and how do I use it?
You need to set a cookie to browse content on exhentai. This plugin simplifies the process and is discrete.

First thing you want to do is sign up for an account at http://forums.e-hentai.org/, the exhentai login system is based on it so you’re pretty much required to make one there. Don’t blame me.

After you have an account AND the extension is installed, try going to http://exhentai.org/login the panda will load but once it’s finished loading a login screen should come up, observe:


(attn Android, Tor or NoScript Users: the styling of this page does not appear how I intended but works nevertheless)

Slap in your login details (correctly) and click "sign in". You will be redirect to the exhentai main page, thats it!

If you want to log out of exhentai, look for the logout button the extension adds to the website!

Strangely, it works on my Macbook, but not my Windows machine. (Only get SadPanda) The only difference I can think of is the fact my Windows computer uses Firefox 25.1, while my macbook uses Firefox 26 as part of the beta release schedule, but I don't know if that has any relevance, just I don't use my Macbook regularly.

I cleared the history and cookies of both machines prior to testing this out too.

Woah, damn. Thanks for this. I've been using the old method of transferring cookies from e-hentai to exhentai which works well. Only issue is when I want to clear cookies which becomes somewhat meddlesome. Hopefully this remedies that problem. Also here's hoping this keeps getting updated whenever necessary. = )

By the way, I heard that Tor Browser is based on FF. So I thought that this will work on Tor too, but it didn't.

Is it because of version of FF that Tor based on, or basical problem on Tor?
