It’s already been less than a week since Nintendo’s last Direct showcase which featured the Japanese publisher formally announcing the existence of Pokemon Sun and Moon, the next series of games in the legendary handheld series. Tomorrow, on March 3rd, Nintendo will be returning once again to grace viewers at home with information on what to look forward to in summer 2016.
The presentation will touch base on upcoming titles for both the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and will begin at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET. Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct can be viewed from both Nintendo’s official website or at Nintendo’s Twitch channel.
With a new mothership Pokemon game having already been announced so swiftly before E3, it’s exciting to wager that the publisher might not hold back any punches before another imminent Direct presentation during the magnanimous Los Angeles expo. Wishful thinking aside, here’s to hoping we, additionally, receive some elaboration on titles such as Genei Ibun Roku #FE – previously Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem – and if, perhaps, we will indeed see Nintendo follow up with rumors suggesting that the publisher will finally be localizing Mother 3, the cult-hit follow-up to Earthbound, to North America.

You will never be able to look at Nurse Joy the same way ever again.
Japanese Twitter user @g_taka072 saw something a little bit different than a nurse behind the counter in the Pokemon Center. Imagine after a long journey you and your Pokemon are tired and you come to the Pokemon Center to rehabilitate and this is staring at you.
“I always thought that the Pokémon Center’s nurse
was a monster that looked like this.”
Don’t see it? Let’s take a closer look.
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
Here’s how other Twitter users reacted to this horrendous discovery.
“AAAAAHHHHH!!!”
“CAN’T UNSEE!”
“Yes! I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw the demon!”
“There’s a few other mis-seeings I remember from this game….”
Others shared their views on the Pokemon sprites.
Have you ever hilariously misinterpreted any sprites in games you’ve played? With the recent re-releases of Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, we can only assume players are now looking for something to scar us with next.
How would you react if you saw a cute cosplayer, and then suddenly you realize it’s your teacher in crossplay?
Cosplaying is growing in popularity, but it’s still very niche and even many anime fans aren’t interested in it. When you’re a teacher, we can only imagine why you would feel the need to keep your hobbies a secret. Maintaining one’s image of authority and gaining the respect of your students is very important. Unfortunately, as the saying in China goes, you can’t wrap fire with paper, and the truth eventually comes out. One of his very own students recognized him!
Weibo user Crome Moe, a male teacher from Guangdong, China, is super cute dressed as female characters!
The best aspect of cosplaying is being able to jump into the shoes of your favorite characters and become a completely different person.
Even though he’s been discovered, it doesn’t seem to be affecting Crome Moe’s passion for cosplay. Check out more of his cosplays on his Weibo page!
Jun Maeda, the man behind famed series such as Clannad, Angel Beats!, and the recent work of Charlotte, posted on his Twitter account that he has been hospitalized since Monday. The 41-year-old Visual Art’s/Key writer and composer didn’t provide details on his hospitalization or his current condition, but stated that he will receive treatment so he can recover his health. We can only hope that means this isn’t serious!
Maeda is well-known for writing the Visual Art’s/Key visual novels Kanon, Air, Clannad, and Little Busters!, all of which received anime adaptations. He also wrote the Angel Beats! anime adaptation, and most recently Charlotte. This dedicated artist also composed the music for or otherwise supervised the music production for other Key visual novels, such as Kud Wafter and Rewrite.

From the popular fujoshi game by Nitroplus that’s taking Japan by storm, Touken Ranbu Online, comes a fabulous 1/8th scale ARTFX J figure of Hotarumaru. This cute boy comes in his black military uniform displayed in a really flamboyant pose. Another great figure made by Kotobukiya.
From the erotic visual novel Walkure Romanze, comes a mind-blowing figure of sexy knight Bertille Althusser. She comes with armored arms and legs, but nothing but a bikini to cover her massive breasts and wide hips. Even that little bit of clothing can be removed for an up-close-and-personal look at her greatest assets. An awesome figure by A+.

Cat caretaker tweets out a plea for cat food, and gets way more than she anticipated!
Sometimes the world can seem like a pretty depressing place, and then you see a story that restores your faith in humanity. This is one of those stories.
Aoshima, also widely known as Cat Island, is probably Japan’s most famous tiny, remote island, thanks to all the media attention it’s received over the years. Of course, when your island has a lot more cats than it has humans, it’s no wonder the world has fallen in love!
Cat island is very remote, approximately 13.5 kilometers (around 8.4 miles) away from Nagahama Bay. There aren’t any stores or even vending machines, so when it comes to finding food for all these cuties it gets a little difficult. So one caretaker decided to turn to Twitter for help, and the response was phenomenal. In fact, they got so many supplies they ran out of room to store them!
Please send cat food to Aoshima.
We are steadily running out of food.
Naoko Kamimoto
Aoshima Cat Protection Society

In case you need our phone number, please contact us individually.
Please understand our current situation.
There are no stores to buy food here on Aoshima. There aren’t any vending machines either.
The people here acquire their necessities by taking a boat to the mainland.
However, it’s extremely windy in winter, and boat service is often suspended.
Today, I am heading to Aoshima.
Over 40 packages are to be delivered.
Thank you so very much, everyone, for sending us supplies.
Thank you for all the supplies.
We can’t get any more cat food in the storage area, so we put it in the waiting room.
With things the way they are now, we have enough food to last until the end of March, so please don’t send any more for now.
Thank you very much.
Please stop sending supplies (cat food) to Aoshima.
We got far more than we ever expected, and there’s no more storage room. We’ll be fine until April. Thank you all very much.
Wow, the cats of Aoshima are incredibly popular!
Thank you to the power of Twitter for helping feed all these kitties. Now they can thrive with full bellies!
Anime series continually choose baseball teams to support during the season. After Watamote and Mr. Osomatsu, the last is Sailor Moon Crystal‘s very own crybaby Usagi Tsukino. Tickets for the games including collaboration towels went on sale to CLUB G-po this weekend, and will be offered to the public March 12th.
There is also a planned social media campaign giving away clear files. The Giants represent Bunkyo, Tokyo in the Central League of Nippon Professional Baseball.
