Yuan-Ji was trained to be a protector of royalty ever since her birth. While she did become a servant of a princess, their relationship evolved from servant and master to sister and sister. Thanks to this close relationship, she is the most trusted of all servants. Despite her ‘foreign origins’, Yuan-Ji excels at Chinese Quinggong and has used these martial arts to get her and her princess out of danger many times.
At a first glance, the beautiful floral patterns and golden jewelry pop out. The inspiration seems to take from both Chinese and Indian traditions. Although the design seems eastern, she has a very western appearance to her but that can be credited to her ‘foreign origins’. The usage of light blue, gold, and white make it easy on our eyes and gives an appearance of purity and innocence.
