This year’s Kodansha’s Shuukan Gendai general-interest weekly magazine’s March 7 issue revealed on Monday that Ryou Koshino’s (Ns’Aoi, Toushi Adviser Yuriko) medical manga, Machiisha Jumbo!!, will end in the magazine’s March 14 issue which will be released on March 2, 2015.
Koshino published Machiisha Jumbo!! in the same magazine on 2011. There are currently 13 compiled manga volume for the series. The first volume was released on October 21, 2011 while the latest volume was released on December 22, 2014. The 14th compiled manga volume is scheduled to be released on March 23, 2015.
The manga received a live-action adaptation on July 4, 2013. The show was broadcasted on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV until September 26, 2013 with 13 episodes. Each episode is approximately 43 minutes. Crunchyroll streamed the live-action drama as it aired in Japan.
