Video: “Space Brothers #0″ Anime Film Full Trailer

A full teaser has been uploaded and gives us a longer sneak peak at the upcoming anime film adaptation of Chuya Koyama’s astronaut training story manga Space Brothers. The movie will be titled “Uchuu Kyoudai Number Zero / Space Brothers #0“. The new teaser is a 90-second full trailer. In the beginning of the video, Koyama who also provides an original script for the film says, “In order to draw a sequel to the dream, I wrote the origin of the dream.” The prequel story is set in four years before the first episode, and is featuring Brian Jay, NASA’s astronaut who was already dead in the story lines of the manga and TV anime.

Space Brothers #0 will begin being shown in Japan cinemas on August 9.

It will be a prequel to the TV anime series and will be titled Uchuu Kyoudai #0 (Number Zero). The mangaka also added that the movie will revolve around the “origin of the dream.”
