Coming of Age Day, celebrated on January 11th in Japan, is a day meant to wish well to the potential stresses and hardships that young adults entering their adulthood will experience. Due to the traditional and celebratory context of this event, traditional Kimono are worn to commemorate the day and their childhood nostalgia. Because of this, Pixiv Artists in Japan came together to celebrate with beautiful art featuring traditional themes and wear, and series such as Osomatsu-San, Crayon Shin-chan and Persona 4.
