First Commercial Streamed for Tokyo Ghoul √A Blu-ray/DVD

The first commercial has been streamed for Tokyo Ghoul √A, the second season of the anime adaptation of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul manga, revealing the first details about the anime’s Blu-ray and DVD releases. The first volume will contain the first two episodes of the anime as well as: an original unannounced CD, a ticket application to a lottery, a 16 page booklet, undecided SD character goods, a special disc jacket drawn by character designer Kazuhiro Miwa, a special visual, audio commentary, textless versions of the Opening and Ending animations, and a video from last year’s Tokyo Ghoul event.

The first Blu-ray and DVD volume of Tokyo Ghoul √A will be releasing in Japan on March 27, and will have a total of 6 volumes. The first volume will cost ¥6,800 (~ $57.85USD) on Blu-ray and ¥5,800 (~ $49.34) on DVD, both prices excluding tax. The anime itself is currently airing every Thursday at midnight JST (effectively Friday) on Tokyo MX.
