The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Miyako Aoyama and Zhao Yingle’s Kurage no Shokudou light novel series has revealed a teaser video with the staff and cast members for the OVA. Kurage no Shokudou will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 9, 2016.
The cast include:
- Goro Kurihara (Ken Arai from Shounen Hollywood: Holly Stage for 49) will voice Youtarou Misaki
- Masaya Matsukaze (Blues.EXE from Rockman.EXE) as Arashi Mutou

Kurage no Shokudou is a Japanese light novel written by Miyako Aoyama, with illustrations by Chinese artist Zhao Yingle. The novel has been serialized in Kodansha’s Box-Air online magazine since 2013. An original video animation will be released on March 9, 2016 on DVD and Blu-ray. The anime is produced by Zexcs, with Hiromi Taniguchi directing and designing the characters, Yutaka Uemura assisting with the direction and Chika Suzumura writing the scripts.
Kurage no Shokudou synopsis from MAL:
In the story, the protagonist Youtarou Misaki finds himself lying on the beach one day. He is picked up by Arashi, who manages a restaurant called Kurage no Shokudou. When asked who he is, the protagonist tells a lie that he lost his memory—but he remembers everything, including the fact that his twin brother died.
