Kyoto Animation has posted a statement regarding the tragedy which occurred on July 18, 2019.
They have acknowledged all the support and kindness from fans across the world and has stated that they deeply appreciate it. They have also stated that as a company they will do their best to recover and reconstruct the company internally.
They have decided to open donations and has opened a bank account for donations only. They are aware that a large number of people have been asking for ways to help or support, and that they are very sorry for the delay of this announcement.

The use of the donation money will be for the passed away employees and their family and relatives, the recovering employees and their family, and the reconstruction of the company.
They want to be transparent so all money received through the donation bank account will be reported to the public. They are unsure of how to announce this since the timing might be bad.
All donations which are from third parties will be put on Kyoto Animation’s website at a later date once they can confirm everything.
