Cinema Today posted the first trailer for the film adaptation of Atsuko Nanba’s Senpai to Kanojo. The theme song, “Aizu” is preformed by aiko (“Home” for Hankyu Densha Katamichi 15-fun-no-kiseki).
This one sided love story was first serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend from September 2004 to April 2005, it was then later compiled into two tankobon volumes. The series has over one million copies in print. Kyoko Yoshine plays the protagonist Rika Tsuzuki (Makoto Kagawa in Omotesando Koukou Gasshoubu!), who falls madly in love with her senpai, Keigo Minohara played by Jun Shizon (Right Suzuki in Ressha Sentai ToQger). However, Keigo already loves someone else.
The film is set to release in Japan on October 17.
