A commercial has been streamed online for the The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls anime revealing the first Blu-ray and DVD volume of the series and the contents of the release. The first volume will contain the first 2 episode of the anime and: a special Music CD with Volume 1 of the 346Pro IDOL Selection, a series of images and storyboards, animation cels, a special digipack drawn by character designer Yuusuke Matsuo, and a recording of the New Years special. The anime itself is directed by Noriko Takao (The iDOLM@STER, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) and produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Aldnoah.Zero).
The first volume of The IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls Blu-ray and DVD will be releasing in Japan on April 23rd. The BD will cost ¥6,800 (~ $57.80 USD) and the DVD will cost ¥5,800 (~ $49.30 USD).
