It has been announced that the Tokyo Ghoul manga will conclude with the upcoming 143rd chapter in this year’s 42nd issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine on September 18th. Likewise, the 14th (and final) volume of the manga will be published on October 17th.
Tokyo Ghoul is a manga series by Sui Ishida, serialized in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump since September 2011. The manga has been collected in thirteen tankobon volumes as of August 2014. An anime television series adaptation by studio Pierrot started airing on Tokyo MX on July 3, 2014 which will end with a total of 12 episodes on September 19, 2014.

The suspense horror/dark fantasy story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious “ghouls” who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery.
