Many young and hopeful people dream of one day marrying “the one” and being elevated into the next level of bliss. But this task is harder than it seems! Cool Kyoushinsha’s 4 panel web comic I Can’t Understand What My Husband is Saying (Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken) follows the romantic relationship between a married couple. Kaoru, a normal earnest and hardworking office lady fell in love and got married normally. What’s not normal is that her husband – Hajime – is an otaku who is addicted to 2ch! The manga is currently on its fourth volume.
The upcoming anime adaptation’s official website released the first promotion video on Monday. It also presented more of the voice cast and staff as well as revealed information on the theme song.
Kaoru: “I, Kaoru, am a pretty normal office lady. I fell in love normally, and married normally. Even now, I’m living a lovey-dovey life. I guess what’s different is that my husband is an otaku.

The cast includes:
Ryoko Shintani (Sae from Hidamari Sketch) as Tanaka-san, another highschool friend.
Shinpei Nagai (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is directing the anime and writing the script at Studio Seven while Ryuichi Baba (Kill la Kill) is designing the characters and acting as the animation director. Also lending his hand for the show; Masakatsu Oomuro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is serving as sound director at Dax Production and G-angle will be composing the music. To cap it all off, Dream Creation is producing the anime.
The series will premier October 2nd, 2014 during the fall 2014 anime season.
