Just before Christmas, AniSugar were selling anime-themed Christmas cakes in celebration of the annual holiday. The cakes they sold varied from Nisekoi, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and more.
Though it’s now sold out, a cake featuring Mekakucity Actors was on sale and it featured the Mekakushi Dan drawn by the anime’s production company Shaft. The cake is filled with a fresh strawberry cream filling, and is topped with a whipped cream frosting and glazed fresh berries. The cakes were delivered frozen right before Christmas in a special illustrated box as shown below, and came with collectable plates. The price for the cake was 4,980 yen (about US$45) and it was scheduled to be delivered on December 23.
