Japanese entertainment news website Oricon briefly listed cast and staff for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of visual novel Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) on Friday. The series will adapt CAPCOM’s visual novel and premiere in Spring 2016, to replace Kindaichi Shounen Jikenbo Returns (2015).
The cast included:
- Yuki Kaji (Meliodas from Nanatsu no Taizai) will voice Ryuuichi Naruhodou
- Aoi Yuuki (Tatsumaki from One Punch Man) as Mayoi Ayasato
- Masashi Tamaki (Reiji Aoi from Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns) as Reiji Mitsuruji
- Chie Nakamura (Sakura Haruno from Naruto) as Chihiro Ayasato
- Masami Iwasaki (Takayama from Asylum Session) as Keisuke Itonokogiri
- Tooru Nara (Yuusei Nishida from Chihayafuru) as Masashi Yahari
The staff included:

- Series Composition: Atsuhiro Tomioka (Blade & Soul)

The games follow the exploits of a passionate rookie defense attorney named Ryuuichi Naruhodou (Phoenix Wright in English versions) who fights for his clients in a courtroom setting loosely resembling that of the Japanese legal system, using investigative skills, cross-examinations, and evidence.
