While the anime production team ufotable is busy working for the upcoming Fate/stay night (2014) anime series, the ufotable cafes around Japan have revealed their newest item. Following the seasonal theme, a Japanese summer staple in Somen noodles will be sold in a nice Fate/stay night (2014) branded box.
The above picture is of the Somen noodles they are selling in a Fate/stay night branded box which features Saber, Archer, Rin Tohsaka, Sakura Matou, Taiga Fujimura and Shirou Emiya from the series. The box has a shiny vinyl coat finish so “fans can save the box with ease” which was posted by the manufacturer of the somen noodles.
If you’re wondering what Somen noodles are, they are very thin type of white Japanese noodles made of wheat flour which are less than 1.3 mm in diameter. The noodles are usually served cold during the summer season.
The Fate/stay night (2014) series will be directed by Takahiro Miura (storyboard for Fate/Zero, first directing role) and will launch this October during the Fall/Autumn 2014 anime season.
