My Little Sister Can’t Possibly Be This Politically Active, Can She?

Last June, Japan’s Diet enacted legislation on lowering the nation’s voting age from 20 to 18, the first reduction since the 20-year-mark was set following the end of World War II. The change goes into effect this year in time for summer’s Upper House election which means that a few million first-time voters will be able to vote.

Oreimo light novel author Tsukasa Fushimi and artist Hiro Kanzaki have turned once again to their characters for a story in which, while Kyosuke Kosaka is in college, Life Counselling activities lead to 18-year-old Kirino’s selection to be a spokes model for the new voting law changes. Kuroneko also makes an appearance.

The book will be distributed at national events and workshops, as well as Dengeki’s Spring event on March 13th.
