Have you ever wanted to be woken up by a beautiful anime girl? Or to experience being part of the world of Sword Art Online? Well, with the advances of virtual technology, you can now live both those fantasies with the newly released Asuna Alarm application for Android!
Sony Media have teamed up with the anime adaptation of Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online to create an alarm application feature Asuna for Android. The app uses Live2D technology that is also found in various other anime character alarm apps. The application itself allows users to set up at time where the app will inform you to wake up, just as Asuna would. Of course, the voice actress of Asuna, Haruka Tomatsu (Naruko Anjou from AnoHana) returns to voice her in the app. But there are more functionalities than just the alarm.
Another core feature is the talk function. This allows you to speak to Asuna and she will respond. Ask her questions make her say commands or just say hello. She will easily respond to basic questions such as the date, current time, weather, and even fortune telling. Asuna might even fall asleep if you idle too long.
She will also have various lines to say throughout idling in the application and in response to some questions, and even you get a little “hands on” with her. She will even greet you correctly depending on the time of the day. Of course, do note that she currently responds to and in Japanese.
There is also more than just speaking to Asuna. You can also change what outfit she is currently wearing, from her typical combat clothes or for something more casual.
You will also be able to purchase additional costumes for Asuna.
Here is a video of Asuna in action:
The Asuna Alarm application is currently out now in the Google Play Store for supported Android devices, for free. Many of the app’s functions may only work in Japan. There has been no confirmation whether the app will come to iOS.

The anime adaptation was revealed on the 7th manga volume of Takemaru Inui’s manga series Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Everyday That There Is a Monster Girl), there was wraparound jacket band announcement revealing that the TV anime adaptation of the manga will premiere this July, during the summer 2015 anime season.
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, usually translated as “Everyday Life with Monster Girls” but also as “Daily Life with a Monster Girl” or “Everyday Monster Girls“, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Okayado. The manga first began as a series of hentai one-shots. An anime adaption has been announced to Air in July 2015.
Monster Musume is currently published in Japan by Tokuma Shoten in their Monthly Comic Ryu magazine and by Seven Seas Entertainment in the United States, with the chapters collected and reprinted into—so far—6 tankobon volumes. The story revolves around Kimihito Kurusu, often referred to as “Darling” among various other things, a Japanese student whose life is totally thrown into turmoil after becoming involved with the “Interspecies Cultural Exchange” program by mistake.
Monsters—they’re real, and they want to date us! Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood—not to mention scale, feather, horn, and fang. Thanks to the “Cultural Exchange Between Species Act,” these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they’re trying.
When a hapless human named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a “volunteer” into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu’s job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what’s a full-blooded young man with raging hormones to do?!

Sorachi added the science fiction setting to develop characters to his liking after his editor suggested doing a historical series.
The series has been adapted into an original video animation (OVA) by Sunrise and was featured at Jump Festa 2006 Anime Tour in 2005. This was followed by a full anime series titled Gintama that premiered in 2006 and continued until 2010. After a small hiatus,Gintama returned under the nameGintama (2011) and aired until March 26, 2012 with a total of 51 episodes. After another small hiatus, Gintama returned under the name Gintama’ Enchousen with a total of 13 episodes which aired from October 4, 2012 to March 28th, 2013. It also inspired two movies, Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen and Gintama: Kanketsu-hen – Yorozuya yo Eien Nare. Weekly Shonen Jump’s 33rd issue had teased that the manga is celebrating over a decade of serialization with “OOO” (an unrevealed term that can be spelled with three Japanese syllables).
Life isn’t easy in feudal Japan… especially since the aliens landed and conquered everything! Oh sure, the new health care is great, but the public ban on the use of swords has left a lot of defeated samurai with a difficult decision to make concerning their future career paths! This is especially true if, as in the case of Gintoki Sakata, they’re not particularly inclined towards holding a day job, which is why Gintoki’s opted for the freelance route, taking any job that’s offered to him as long as the financial remuneration sounds right. Unfortunately, in a brave new world filled with stray bug-eyed monsters, upwardly mobile Yakuza and overly ambitious E.T. entrepreneurs, those jobs usually don’t pay as well as they should for the pain, suffering and indignities endured!
The anime itself finished with a total of 13 episodes on Friday and the first volume of the Blu-ray was released on June 24. A total of 8 outlets will be offering special illustrations, which may come as an acrylic board, box cover or special sleeve.
