Aria the Animation synopsis from MAL:
Drift peacefully into Neo Venezia, a city on the planet Aqua (formerly known as Mars). By the 24th century, humans have found a way to colonize the previously uninhabitable planet. As futuristic as that sounds, Neo Venezia is still teeming with rustic beauty; gondolas on wide canals and waterways are the main mode of transportation. The city itself is a faithful replication of Manhome’s (the planet formerly known as Earth) Venice.
To make sure that residents and tourists alike get the most from Neo Venezia’s many wonders, companies offering guided tours via gondola were formed, one of which is named Aria Company.
This is the workplace of Akari Mizunashi, a free spirited teenager from Manhome who is now a novice Undine (the title given to tour guides). Join Akari as she becomes intimately acquainted with other Undine, tourists, Neo Venezia’s residents, and even the city itself, learning many valuable life lessons along the way, such as the wonderful truth that there are such things as manmade miracles.
Aria the Avvenire will be shown at a special screening of the anime on September 26. Whether it will be a one-off special, film or TV series has yet to been revealed.

Now I’m quickly approaching the third year since my debut, I’ve gotten offers to sing songs for anime as well and like always, I’m watching a lot of cool anime series every season and sometimes go out to anime clubs. I want to realize a project for that [version of] Yun*chi! So with that said, this time I tried covering anime songs*. Anime song × Yun*chi, ‘Ani*Yun’!! I definitely hope you’ll listen to it♪”
The singer has done performances two years in a row at London’s Hyper Japan cultural expo event, as well as sang the ending themes “Your song*” and “Wonderful Wonder World*” for both seasons of Log Horizon, and held her first solo live at the club MOGRA in December last year.
Along with listing their ranked Anime of the Season of Winter 2015, Anime Trending has as well conducted a category awards section where fans of the Facebook community could partake in further surveys from last season.
Vote tallies for their favourite characters, couple/ships and soundtrack were collected through a series of straw polls which lasted throughout majority of the season, while the latter such as genre, sequels, and leftovers were placed into a separate survey for a shorter time period. Note that total number of votes measures the amount of participants and won’t always equal the sum of its category.
I guess that’s about it for this season, Death Parade, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu and Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata were clear victors among Anime Trending’s category awards, having all claimed 3 titles under their straw polls (even if Karma’s receiving double-sided praise as ‘male of the season’). I’m fairly satisfied myself of the overall result, though I admittedly wouldn’t have minded if a few other shows from the Fall 2014 leftovers received a bit more attention than they did.
What are your thoughts on Anime Trending’s anime awards of Winter 2015? Let us know in the comments!

Aoi will never forget how she felt the day her high school animation club’s labor of love was shown at the cultural festival. The sense of awe and the feeling of accomplishment that came with completing their very first project are exactly what encouraged Aoi and her club mates to enter the animation industry in the first place. But two years later Aoi has graduated, and now that she works as a production assistant for a big-name animation studio, the daunting reality of her job has somewhat diminished her enthusiasm. Despite the long hours and the punishing schedule, Aoi still hopes to fulfill the promise she and her club friends Ema, Shizuka, Misa, and Midori made: to one day reunite and make a real animated feature of their own as professionals!

Anime visual:
Shirobako is an anime television series produced by P.A. Works and directed by Tsutomu Mizushima. The series aired in Japan between October 9, 2014 and March 26, 2015. A manga adaptation began serialization in ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki Daioh magazine in September 2014, and a novel was published by Shueisha in January 2015.
The title Shirobako refers to videos that are distributed to the production staff members prior to its release. These videos were at a time distributed as VHS tapes enclosed in white boxes and are still referred to as “white boxes” (thus the meaning of shirobako) despite the fact that the white enclosures are no longer in use.
