Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, also known in short form as GochiUsa, is a Japanese 4-panel comedy manga series by Koi, serialized in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Max since March 2011. It has been collected in three tankobon volumes as of March 2014. An anime television series adaptation by White Fox aired in Japan between April and June 2014. The second season is currently airing.

Synopsis of GochiUsa‘s first season from Haruhichan:

Cocoa arrives at the cafe Rabbit House one day, excited for rabbits. She actually all but lives in that cafe. She meets lots of different girls there, including a tiny and cool girl named Chino, a tough and soldier-esque girl named Rize, a spacey and quintessentially Japanese girl named Chiyo, and the ordinary but dignified Sharo.

The company previously released boxer briefs using images from Danmachi, High School DxD BorN and Non Non Biyori Repeat. They’ve recently added Strike Witches: Operation Victory to their lineup and all of the items will be shipped on February 12, 2016.

Lupin III, also written as Lupin the Third or Lupin the 3rd, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Monkey Punch. It follows the escapades of master thief Arsène Lupin III, the grandson of Arsène Lupin, the gentleman thief of Maurice Leblanc’s series of novels.

The Lupin III manga, which first appeared in Weekly Manga Action on August 10, 1967, spawned a media franchise that includes numerous manga, two versions of an anime pilot film, five animated television series, six theatrically released animated feature films, two live-action films, a two-part animated theatrical short film, five OVA works, twenty-five animated television films, two musicals, music CDs, and video games. Many different companies have owned the English-language distribution rights to various Lupin III properties at various times, with just the first two animated films having been released by over 10 companies alone. Tokyopop acquired the license to the original manga in 2002, and later the second series in 2004. Funimation Entertainment purchased the rights to several of the television specials and films in 2002, and the fourth television series in 2012. Geneon licensed and dubbed 79 episodes of the second television series, 26 of which were broadcast on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim during 2003. Nearly fifty years after its creation, Lupin III remains popular, with the fifth anime series airing in Italy in 2015. For several years, issues relating to the copyright of Maurice Leblanc’s intellectual property meant that the Lupin name was removed from its releases outside of Japan, usually changed to “Rupan” or “Wolf”. However, the copyright has since expired, allowing foreign releases to use the Lupin name.

Lupin will be starring as the main character in this upcoming series set to take place in Italy and San Marino.

Reflecting its setting, the anime will debut in Italy before airing in Japan. Lupin III fans will note that the titular thief now has a blue coat, following his earlier appearances in green (first series and some OVAs), red (the second series as well as most films and television specials) or pink (third series).

Studio Bones announced that their original TV anime Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou is receiving a second cour that will air in April 2016. Before streaming the first season, the studio announced that the series would consist of two cours, but it was unknown if it would be split-cours or not.

Warner Bros. began streaming the first promotional video for the second anime adaptation of Sorata Akiduki’s Akagami no Shirayuki-hime manga on Thursday. The second cour will air on Tokyo MX on January 11, 2016.

Akagami no Shirayuki-hime is a Japanese shoujo manga written by Sorata Akizuki. Although her name means “snow white,” Shirayuki is a cheerful, red-haired girl living in the country of Tanbarun who works diligently as an apothecary at her herbal shop. Her life changes drastically when she is noticed by the silly prince of Tanbarun, Prince Raji, who then tries to force her to become his concubine. Studio Trigger’s Original TV Anime Kiznaiver Main Cast Announced

The official website for Studio Trigger’s (Kill la Kill, Ninja Slayer) upcoming original Kiznaiver TV anime has revealed the first two main cast members. In addition to this, colored character designs were also revealed.

The new video briefly outlines the main staff of the anime and shows its leading tagline: “Youthful group drama about escaping common sense. We are connected through wounds.” The video also reveals that Yuuki Hayashi (Haikyuu!!, Death Parade) will compose the series’ music. Further information about the anime will be revealed at a later date.

- A mysterious and beautiful girl who experienced kizuna (connection) with Katsuhira and the others, and assigns them missions. She is even more emotionless than Katsuhira, and feels no human kindness.

- A muscular idiot who tends not to look before he leaps. While he presents a rude front, he possesses the potential for leadership.

Tsuguto Yoshida
- A handsome and self-satisfied honor student who is always surrounded by girls. He is a selfish and calculating man with an underhanded nature, and is cold to other men.
Honoka Maki
- A girl who exudes a calm, grown-up air, and who tends not to group with people. She tends to say mean things, glare menacingly, and is generally unsociable.
Chidori Takashiro
- Katsuhira’s friend, and the class representative-type who always sees to everyone’s needs (or is nosy, if viewed negatively). Does she hold complex feelings for Katsuhira?
Niko Niiyama
- A mysterious yet spontaneous girl who says she can see fairies. Her personality is clear not just in her attitude but also in her fashion.
Yoshiharu Hisomu

Here is the anime’s synopsis:

Set in the fictional Japanese city of Sugomori City, one day Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira: “You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver.” The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his.

The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers.

Sugomori City is built on reclaimed land. But as the years go by, the city’s population is decreasing. The story is set in this town where Katsuhira and the others live.

In an interview in the magazine, scriptwriter Okada stated that the keyword for the series is “kizuna” (connection). The title itself is a play on “kizuna” and “naive.” Okada noted that she wrote the title before the story outline.

Studio Trigger is currently producing Kiznaiver, a brand new original TV anime. Further information about the anime will be revealed at a later date.

Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuo Ohtagaki. The manga takes place in the Universal Century timeline during the events of Mobile Suit Gundam. Chain Chronicle TV Anime Adaptation Delayed to 2016

The official website of the TV anime adaptation of Sega’s Chain Chronicle has revealed that the series will now air next year, being delayed from its initial 2015 broadcast.

In addition to the news, the first promotional video was also revealed.

The cast and crew for the anime was previously announced. The anime’s cast was revealed but the characters they will be voicing was not. They are:

Chain Chronicle is a Tower Defense Role Playing Game developed and published by Sega for all Smartphone platforms in Japan. It was released in Japan on July 26, 2013 for iOs, August 1, 2013 for Android and on July 16, 2014 for the PlayStation Vita. The game is licensed in Asia by SNDA in China, MobiMon for both Taiwan and Macau, Actoz Soft for South Korea and Gumi Asia for both Southeast Asia and North American release.

The series spawned an Original Video Animation series directed by Takeshi Mori, animated by Juumonji and Sotsu. It was released on December 18, 2014.

New Assassination Classroom Second Season Visual Revealed in Magazine

A new visual for the highly anticipated second season of Yusei Matsui’s Shonen Jump hit Assassination Classroom (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu) TV anime has been revealed in a Japanese magazine.

In addition to this, the official website recently revealed a new visual of the series.

The second season of the Assassination Classroom anime will start airing on Thursdays starting from January 7th. The series will air on Fuji TV and Kansai TV on the 7th, though their times have yet to be revealed. The anime will also air on Tokai TV and BS Fuji, and will be streamed on various including Fuji TV’s On Demand service and D Video.

The first season of the anime began this January in the Winter 2015 anime season and ran for 2 cours spanning 22 episodes. The final episode itself aired on Saturday, June 20th where the second season was unveiled at the end of the episode.

Assassination Classroom is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui. The series began serialization Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from July 2012 and is licensed in English by Viz Media. The series follows the daily lives of an extremely powerful octopus-like teacher and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed. As of March 2015, thirteen tankobon volumes have been released in Japan with a circulation of ten million copies.

A single original video animation adaptation by Brain’s Base based on the series was screened at the Jump Super Anime Tour on October to November 2013. This was followed by a television anime adaptation by Lerche, which began airing on Fuji TV in January 2015. This adaptation has been licensed by Funimation for release in North America. The series was obtained by Madman Entertainment for digital distribution in Australia and New Zealand. A live action film adaptation was released on March 21, 2015.

Shokugeki no Souma Season 2 Anime Announced

The latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed that the anime adaptation of Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki’s Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) manga will receive a second TV anime season.

The latest issue of the magazine also marked the 3rd anniversary of Shokugeki no Souma. The newest chapter of the series includes special coloured pages to celebrate the anniversary. In addition, the issue also revealed that an OVA of the series that was shown at an event, focusing on the Aldini brothers, will be bundled with the manga’s 18th volume. Volume 18 of Shokugeki no Souma will release in Japan on May 2nd

Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) is a comedy, ecchi cooking manga written by Yuuto Tsukuda, illustrated by Shun Saeki with Chef Yuki Mirosaki adding recipes to the manga. The series began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in late 2012 and to date has a total of 9 compiled volumes released, with the 10th volume releasing in Japan on November 4th. A light novel adaptation of the manga began in February this year in Shueisha’s Jump j-Books, written by Michiko Itou and illustrated by Saeki himself. The manga itself has sold over 2 million copies to date.

Yukihira Souma’s dream is to become a full-time chef in his father’s restaurant and surpass his father’s culinary skill.
