Sound! Euphonium Welcome to Kitauji High School’s Musical Instrument Club is a Japanese novel by Ayano Takeda, published on December 5, 2013 by Takarajimasha. The story focuses on the Kitauji High School Music Club, which is steadily improving thanks to the newly appointed adviser’s strict instruction. An anime adaptation has been announced.
Hibike! Euphonium begins when Kumiko Oumae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school’s brass band club as a first year. Kumiko’s classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school.
With the To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2ndanime debuting on July 7th, comes a new absolutely stunning figure of the Golden Darkness in her Trance of Darkness form. She’s shown displaying a playful expression while her golden hair is seen flowing down her back.
The official website of anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita and Suzuhito Yasuda’s Durarara!! light novel series has revealed a new visual for the next instalment of the Durarara!!x2 anime project, Durarara!!x2 Ten, will debut on July 4th. A new visual was also revealed on the site.
Durarara!!x2 is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Durarara!! series, created and written by Ryohgo Narita featuring art from Suzuhito Yasuda. The light novel series began in 2004 published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko. The original light novels ended in January 2013 for a total of 13 volumes, but Narita has started a new series of light novels titled Durarara!! SH set two years after the original’s conclusion. The third issue released this year on January 10th. The light novels received an anime adaptation in 2010 from animation studio Brain’s Base with a second season airing throughout this year. In addition, two manga adaptations and a few visual novels were also released.
Durarara!!x2 Ten will start airing from July 4th at 11:30pm JST on Tokyo MX during the Summer 2015 anime season. Further information about the anime will be revealed within the next week.
Dragon Ball Super will begin its broadcast from July 5 at 9:00am JST on Fuji TV, which will be replacing the timeslot for Dragon Ball Z Kai, which will be wrapping up this season.

The story will take place chronologically after the Majin Buu Saga arc, which is currently airing in a remastered version that adheres more to the original manga. Titled Dragon Ball Kai, the TV anime began airing in April 2014 and will complete in June 2015, just prior to Dragon Ball Super. This series is a continuation of the original Dragon Ball reboot, also titled Dragon Ball Kai, which aired between April 2009 and March 2011.

Kekkai Sensen is a Japanese shounen manga by Yasuhiro Nightow. It has published bimonthly in the magazine Jump SQ.19 ever since 2009 and moved to Jump Square upon the former’s ending. It follows a young photographer named Leonardo Watch who obtained the All Seeing Eyes at the cost of his sister’s eyesight. He moves to the city of Hellsalem’s Lot to join an organization known as Libra to fight several monsters as well as terrorists. The manga has been published in the United States by Dark Horse Comics.
A breach between Earth and the netherworlds has opened up over the city of New York, trapping New Yorkers and creatures from other dimensions in an impenetrable bubble. They’ve lived together for years, in a world of crazy crime sci-fi sensibilities. Japanese website Amiami have updated their website with a hug pillow of Mine and Esdeath from Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro’s Akame ga Kill! anime series. Each pillow cover will sell for 10,800 yen ($88.65) each, tax included.

Akame ga Kill! is a Japanese shōnen manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. It started serialization in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker in March 2010. The story focuses on Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital to raise money for his home only to discover a strong corruption in the area. The assassin group Night Raid recruits the young man to help them in their fight against the Empire to end its corruption.
Akame ga Kill! synopsis from Haruhichan:
In a fantasy world, fighter Tatsumi sets out for the Capitol to earn money for his starving village, and finds a world of unimaginable corruption, all spreading from the depraved Prime Minister who controls the child Emperor’s ear. After nearly becoming a victim of this corruption himself, Tatsumi is recruited by Night Raid, a group of assassins dedicated to eliminating the corruption plaguing the Capitol by mercilessly killing those responsible.
It was also revealed that the seventh volume of Kashiwa Miyako’s manga adaptation will bundle an original anime Blu-ray Disc on January 26, 2016. The Blu-ray will feature an unaired anime episode. The official Twitter account also posted a still from the new promotional video, teasing that Mio is “covered with a mysterious white liquid.”

The official website of the upcomingCharlotte anime has revealed that it will begin airing from July 5th on Tokyo MX during this Summer 2015 anime season. In addition, the site has also revealed two brand new visuals and the preview video for the anime’s first episode.

The Charlotte anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on Saturday, July 4th at midnight, effectively making it air on Sunday, July 5th. The anime will also air on Tochigi TV and GTV at the same time. It will then be broadcasted on Chiba TV, TVK and Television Saitama half an hour later at 12:30am JST on the 5th. It will also air on MBS, Tulip TV, CBC TV and BS11 in the days following.

The previous Dengeki G‘s Magazine issue has revealed the first details of the anime in an interview with Jun Maeda.
He describes the plot of the anime as a typical Key story. He further compares the series to Angel Beats! where that series was unable to flesh out all the characters. This series will be different as their main focus will be on the characters.
The main characters of the series will revolve around the student council, where one of them are in a band. There will be two stage performances by the band.
The anime’s Opening and Ending themes, and the insert songs, will be written and composed by Jun Maeda (Angel Beats! Music & Creator, Clannad Music and Writer).
The genre of the songs will be rock focusing on women vocals where the voice actresses will be singing.
The first half of the anime will be more slow paced than Angel Beats! before picking up speed for the second half

Assassination Classroom is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui. The series began serialization Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from July 2012 and is licensed in English by Viz Media. The series follows the daily lives of an extremely powerful octopus-like teacher and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed. As of March 2015, thirteen tankobon volumes have been released in Japan with a circulation of ten million copies.
A single original video animation adaptation by Brain’s Base based on the series was screened at the Jump Super Anime Tour on October to November 2013. This was followed by a television anime adaptation by Lerche, which began airing on Fuji TV in January 2015. This adaptation has been licensed by Funimation for release in North America. The series was obtained by Madman Entertainment for digital distribution in Australia and New Zealand. A live action film adaptation was released on March 21, 2015.

This year’s 30th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will be revealing on Monday that a limited edition of the ninth and final DVD and Blu-ray Disc for the 3rd season of the Kuroko no Baskettelevision anime series will include an OVA episode. The “75.5th Quarter” episode, which is titled “Saikou no Present Desu” (It’s the Best Present), will ship on December 24.
The limited edition version will include the 74th and 75th episodes of the third season, the OVA episode a special audio drama starring the character Seijuurou Akashi, three end cards, liner notes, and the “Kuroko’s Basketball NG Collection.” The limited edition Blu-ray Disc will retail for 6,800 yen (about $55), and the DVD will retail for 5,800 yen ($47).

Kuroko no Basket, is a Japanese sports manga series written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The English rendering The Basketball Which Kuroko Plays also appears in the artwork of the Japanese version. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2008 to September 2014, with the individual chapters collected into 30 tankobon volumes by Shueisha. It tells the story of a high school basketball team trying to make it to the national tournament.
By April 2014, Kuroko no Basket had 27 million copies in circulation. It is being adapted into an anime television series by Production I.G that began airing in 2012, with a third season having started in January 2015. A sequel manga by Fujimaki titled Kuroko no Basket: Extra Game began serialization in Jump Next! on December 29, 2014.

To LOVE-Ru is an ongoing comedy, ecchi romance manga written by Saki Hasemi and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki. The original series ran from April 2006 and ended in August 2009 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump for a total of 18 volumes. A sequel manga titled To LOVE-Ru Darkness began in the same magazine in 2010 and has a total of 10 volumes to date. An anime adaptation of the first manga was produced in 2008 by Xebec (Pandora Hearts, Break Blade) and directed by Takao Kato (Pandora Hearts, Upotte!!). A sequel anime was followed by in 2010 adapting the remainder of the manga, and the first anime adaptation of To LOVE-Ru Darkness was produced in 2012. The series also received many OVA and video game adaptations.

The story is about Rito Yuuki, a high-school boy who cannot confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna Sairenji. Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates, but she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth.

On June 15th, Eiichiro Oda’s iconic shounen manga, One Piece, won it’s place in the Guinness Book of World Records, listed as “The most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author.” One Piece currently has 320,866,000 printed as of December of 2014, with its first volume being published in 1997. One Piece currently has 790 chapters and 77 volumes thus far.
Even though Oda could not attend the celebratory event, a presentation ceremony was held at the “Tokyo One Piece Tower,” a One Piece theme park in Japan, with professional cosplayers as main attractions.
While Oda was not present, he gave a public service message distributed by in Weekly Shounen Jump. Oda said, quote:
“Thank you very much for certification for the Guinness World Record. Though manga is just entertainment for killing time, I am happy to have heard from people that they were able to make friends, a boyfriend or girlfriend, thanks to the topics aboutOne Piece. I feel the number of this record suggests the possibility to connect the people with the same number. The official website for the second Attack on Titan film, Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 2: Jiyuu no Tsubasa / Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom, has revealed that the film will receive a “4D experience” in theaters in Japan this summer. In the 4D version of the film, theatergoers will see movement all around their seats, not just on the screen. Effects such as wind, water, and flashes will operate in accordance with the film. The first compilation film also had 4D screenings.

To date there has been 14 compiled volumes of the manga. A prequel light novel adaptation started in 2011, and two spin-off manga started serialization in 2012: Shingeki no Kyojin: Before the Fall and Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou. In April 2013 the series was picked up for an anime adaptation. The anime series was produced by the newly formed Wit Studios. The series has grown in popularity since the anime’s debut, with the manga selling over 36 million copies as of April this year. Two live action film adaptations will be releasing in Japan next year. The first images for the live-action 2015 Attack on Titan film were also earlier released.
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans.
Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.
This week’s issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed additional cast for the anime adaptation of Yuuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki’s Shokugeki no Souma (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) manga series. Akasaki Chinatsu (Shinka Nibutani from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) will voice Nakiri Alice, while Okamoto Nobuhiko (Rin Okumura from Ao no Exorcist) will play as Kurokiba Ryou. The article also reveals that Misokatsu will perform the second opening theme song while Oomori Seiko will perform the second ending theme song.

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans.
Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.
The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Okayado’s Monster Musume (Everyday Life with Monster Girls) manga has revealed that Junji Majima (Tooru Acura from Hitsugi no Chaika) has joined the cast as the protagonist Kurusu Kimihito.

The anime adaptation was revealed on the 7th manga volume of Takemaru Inui’s manga series Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Everyday That There Is a Monster Girl), there was wraparound jacket band announcement revealing that the TV anime adaptation of the manga will premiere this July, during the summer 2015 anime season.
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, usually translated as “Everyday Life with Monster Girls” but also as “Daily Life with a Monster Girl” or “Everyday Monster Girls“, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Okayado. The manga first began as a series of hentai one-shots. An anime adaption has been announced to Air in July 2015.
Monster Musume is currently published in Japan by Tokuma Shoten in their Monthly Comic Ryu magazine and by Seven Seas Entertainment in the United States, with the chapters collected and reprinted into—so far—6 tankobon volumes. The story revolves around Kimihito Kurusu, often referred to as “Darling” among various other things, a Japanese student whose life is totally thrown into turmoil after becoming involved with the “Interspecies Cultural Exchange” program by mistake.

Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what’s a full-blooded young man with raging hormones to do?!
The Monster Musume anime adaptation will be airing this July during the Summer 2015 anime season. Further information will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kohske’s Gangsta. manga began streaming a 15-second television ad on Thursday. The ad previews STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION’s opening theme song “Renegade.”
The TV anime will be airing from July 2nd. In addition, a brand new visuals and the first set of character designs were also revealed.
The first episode of the Gangsta. anime will air on July 2nd at 2:44am JST on ABC Asahi. The anime will then air on Tokyo MX on the 5th at 11:30pm JST, followed by TV Aichi on the 6th at 2:35am JST and finally on BS11 on the 9th at 12:30am JST. The series will also be streamed online on Niconico.

The Opening song of the anime will be Renegade performed by the Stereo Dive Foundation and the Ending theme will be Yoru no Kuni (Country of Night) by Annabel.

Gangsta. is a manga series written and illustrated by Kohske. It began serialization in 2010 in Shinchosha’s Comic @ Bunch magazine where to date a total of 6 compiled volumes have been released. It is Kohske’s first series, after publishing two short stories. Her second manga series, DOODLE, began publication last year. The site itself has revealed that a total of 2 drama CDs that have been produced and are currently available for ¥3,000 (~ $30.00 USD), with a third and final CD releasing on December 24th.
In the town of Ergastulum, there exists a feared group of people with increased speed and strength called Twilights. The town is ruled by four gangs: Paulklee, Corsica, Monroe, and Cristiano. Worick Arcangelo and Nicolas Brown make a living here as independent jacks-of-all-trades and find themselves caught in the middle of more than a little trouble.
