Watashi Ni Xx Shinasai’s Ema Toyama’s Pocha Pocha Suieibu Manga Ends

It was revealed in Shonen Gahosha’s Monthly Young King magazine’s March 2015 issue that Etorouji Shiono’s (Übel Blatt, Extra Existence) Kono Jinruiiki no Zelphy (Zelphy of the Aion) manga will end in the April 2015 issue which will ship on February 16, 2015.

The action, adventure, supernatural manga was released on August 20, 2012 under Shonen Gahosha’s Young King Ours GH magazine. The manga’s release was announced in the October 2012 issue of the magazine. There are currently four compiled manga volumes and the latest volume was shipped on November 25, 2014.

Synopsis of Kono Jinruiiki no Zelphy from MAL:

Reesha was once a prince of a powerful dynasty, but after the end of a war, his home is no more. In the the first three years of Reesha’s new life, he went to school with some of his family’s former subjects, now his friends. However, after they graduated, they all joined the military. Reesha’s small size, due to his artificial heart, has prevented his acceptance into the military for three years running. Now, 19-year-old Reesha is living as an ordinary plumber in a town of hot springs. In order to help Reesha get around the size requirement, he and his military friends sneak into a bathhouse to appeal to the general directly. Unfortunately, this plan results in a series of unexpected, violent events which cause Reesha to finally depart his everyday life and head off to chase his destiny!

Terra Formars: Gaiden Rain Hard Spin-off Manga Ends next Month

Today it was announced in the February 2015 issue of Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine that Satoshi Kimura’s (Chikyuu Shinryaku! Colreonis) Terra Formars manga spin-off, Terra Formars: Gaiden Rain Hard, will end in the next issue of the magazine. The March 2015 issue will ship on February 19, 2015. The first and only compiled manga volume for the manga will also ship on the same day.

The spin-off manga is written and illustrated by Satoshi Kimura on October 18, 2014. The release was announced in the 41st 2014 issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine. The manga centers around a German team officer Adolph Reinhard.

The original manga, Terra Formars, was written by Yu Sasuga and was illustrated by Kenichi Tachibana (VS – Kitakantou Renzoku Youjo Yuukai Satsujin Jiken no Shinjitsu). The manga was launched on January 13, 2011 under Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine. There are currently 11 compiled manga volumes being published. The 11th volume was released on November 19, 2014 with a second OVA bundle included, titled Terra Formars: Bugs2 2599. The 12th volume will ship on the same date as the spin-off’s, February 19, 2015.

Viz Media licensed the manga in North America. Tomorrow, January 20th, the fourth English compiled manga volume will ship.

There is an anime adaptation for the manga under the same title. It was produced by LIDENFILMS (Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo, Aiura) and was directed by Hiroshi Hamasaki (Steins;Gate, Blade & Soul). The anime has 13 episodes and aired on September 27, 2014 to December 20, 2014.

Synopsis of Terra Formars from Haruhichan:

With the space program attempting to travel to Mars, 21st century scientists were tasked with warming up the planet so that humans could survive on its surface. They came up with an efficient and cost-effective plan of sending cockroaches and mold to the surface so that the mold would absorb the sunlight and the insect corpses would serve as a food source for the mold.

It is now the year 2577 and the first manned ship to Mars has landed on the planet and the six crew members are ready for their mission. But what they find are giant mutated humanoid cockroaches with incredible physical strength. The crew members are easily wiped out, but not before sending a transmission back to Earth. Now, humanity will send elite warriors to exterminate the mutated bugs and claim back Mars.

Amazon have listed the first volume for the first cour of the second season of Durarara!!, Durarara!!x2 Shou, which has revealed the first blu-ray volume cover along with the goodies that come with it. The release date for the first volume is expected to be released on February 25.

The first volume will include the first 2 episodes of the series. The bonuses which come with this volume are as follows: Newly written Gaiden novella vol.01 by Ryogo Narita, a new illustration card (Izaya Orihara) by Suzuhiro Yasuda, a new illustration jacket by Takahiro Kishida, original drama CD “toudai moto gurashi”, a original SD sticker (Izaya Orihara), a jacket illustration card, a color booklet, a event ticket purchase advanced application ticket, audio commentary and bonus footage.

The new Durarara!! anime is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Durarara!! series, which began as a light novel series in 2004 published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko. The original light novels ended in January this year, but the creator of the series Ryohgo Narita, has stated that he will be begin a new series of light novels titled Durarara!! SH, set two years after the original’s conclusion. The first issue will release on April 10th. The light novels received an anime adaptation in 2010 from animation studio Brains Base. In addition, two manga adaptations were also released and a few visual novels. To date the light novels has a total of 13 volumes. and are illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.

A manga adaptation by Akiyo Satorigi started serialization in the shounen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy on April 18, 2009. An anime adaptation began airing in Japan in January 2010. Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel began streaming the trailer for the first episode of the upcoming anime adaptation of Osamu Takahashi’s Isuca manga on Monday titled Kaikou (A Chance Encounter). Isuca will start airing from January 23 at 25:35 JST (effectively January 24 at 1:35am JST) during the Winter 2014/2015 anime season.

First Attack on Titan 2nd Season Visual Released

The first visual has been released for the upcoming second season of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) anime, based on Hajime Isayama’s manga of the same name, revealed in the latest issue of Gigazine and Animate TV’s Anime Guide.

The second season of the anime was first revealed at the premiere of the Attack on Titan: Crimson Bow and Arrow (Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 1: Guren no Yumiya) compilation film last November. The premiere also revealed the release date for the second compilation film, Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom (Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 2: Jiyuu no Tsubasa) which will be out in Japanese theatres on June 27th this year.

The Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) series was created by Hajime Isayama. It started off as a manga in 2009 and is published in Kodansha’s monthly Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. To date there has been 14 compiled volumes of the manga. A prequel light novel adaptation started in 2011, and two spin-off manga started serialization in 2012: Shingeki no Kyojin: Before the Fall and Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou. In April 2013 the series was picked up for an anime adaptation. The anime series was produced by the newly formed Wit Studios. The series has grown in popularity since the anime’s debut, with the manga selling over 36 million copies as of April this year. Two live action film adaptations will be releasing in Japan next year. The first images for the live-action 2015 Attack on Titan film were also earlier released.

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans.

Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.

The second season of Attack on Titan will be airing sometime in 2016. More information about the upcoming anime will be revealed at the second compilation film on June 27.

Re-Kan! TV Anime Episode 1 Preview Event on March 14

The official website of the anime adaptation of Hinako Seta’s Re-Kan! 4koma has revealed that there will be a special preview event of the anime’s first episode on March 14, where the main cast of the Spring series will also make an appearance.

An event for the Re-Kan! anime will be held on March 14 at the 10th Cinema at United Cinemas Toyosu, where the first episode of the anime will be screened before its scheduled broadcast. The event itself is titled Re-Kan TV Anime Pre-Screening ~White Day Special~.The event will also see the main voice cast of the anime in attendance hosting a talk session with about the anime and their roles. The main cast of the anime includes:

Kido Ibuki (Rinka in Tokyo ESP) as Amami Hibiki, a polite and relaxed girl who often worries about others around her more than she worries about herself. She can see and communicate with the supernatural!

Itou Miku (Usami Nanako in Locodol) as Inoue Narumi, Amami’s classmate and friend who hates ghosts and scary stories.

Iida Riho (Rin in Love Live! School Idol Project) as Uehara Kana, a popular blogger who is very curious about Amami’s ability.

M.A.O (Mikoto in Ore Twintails ni Narimasu) as Esumi Kyouko, Uehara’s childhood friend and also a former delinquent. Even so, she’s very caring and compassionate.

Yamazaki Eri (Roboko in Sekai Seifuku Bouryaku no Zvezda) as Ogawa, a bright but airheaded person who is a girl… maybe…

Iguchi Yuka to Perform DanMachi Anime’s Opening Song

On January 18th, 2015, voice actress and singer Iguchi Yuka’s official website announced that she would be performing the opening song for the upcoming Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka? (DanMachi for short) anime. The song will double as her unnamed and unreleased upcoming 4th single which will most likely be released between April 2015 and June 2015. The news was first released at her concert at the IMP Hall in Osaka last night.

Iguchi is most famous for her role in A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun as Index, the small nun in training of the series. In February of 2013, she made her debut as a singer in her 1st single, named “Shining Star-☆-LOVE Letter,” that featured as the theme song of A Certain Magical Index the Movie: The Miracle of Endymion. Since then, she has released 2 more singles that have featured in generally popular anime and is planning to released her fourth single in the Spring of 2015. On July 9th, 2014, she released her first full album, titled “Hafa Adai.”

On January 18th, 2015, the official website for the Duel Masters Versus anime announced that their all new Duel Masters Versus Revolution television anime will be premiering in April. The series is centered around Kirifuda Katta, the younger brother of the famous and incredibly popular Kirifuda Shoubu. Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream Blu-ray Coming to USA

Aniplex USA have streamed a new trailer announcing that there will be a Blu-ray release for Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream, the second animated film based on Atlus’ hit 2006/2007 RPG Persona 3. The movie itself will continue on from the first film as the SEES investigate further into Tartarus, and is produced by AIC (Sora no Otoshimono, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita) and directed by Tomohisa Taguchi (Persona 4 the Golden Animation). The Blu-ray release will have a standard edition and a collector’s edition. Both will have the full movie, released trailers, commercials and audio commentary, and the collectors edition will also contain: the film’s OST, an exclusive box art designed by character designer Keisuke Watabe, a new cover art, a 48 page booklet, 10 stickers and 3 illustration cards.

Voice actress Jenya reported on her official Twitter account that singer Origa passed away on Saturday, due to lung cancer. She was 44 years old.

Russian-born Origa first came to Japan in 1991 on a home-stay program, and made her major debut in Japan in 1995 under the EMI Music Japan label. Origa has released seven solo albums, two mini-albums, and 3 singles. She gained popularity outside of Japan with the release of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and the subsequent original soundtracks, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex O.S.T. 2. She’s widely known for the two opening themes Inner Universe and Rise for the TV anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and its sequel, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG.

She also performed the hymn singing voice for the character Kanon in Gust and KOEI Tecmo Games’ Ar nosurge PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita video game, which shipped in Japan last year.

A Durarara!!x2 Shou anime visual has been featured on Japanese rock band THREE LIGHTS DOWN KINGS’ 1st major single NEVER SAY NEVER from Sony Music Associated Records which is scheduled for release in Japan on February 11. NEVER SAY NEVER featured as Durarara!!x2 Shou‘s ending theme.

THREE LIGHTS DOWN KINGS first started as an indie band for six years, they made their major debut from the label with the 1st album “LiVERTY” in December 2013.

The time-limited production edition of the CD single features two new anime visuals provided by the staff of the anime for the band. The limited edition also comes with a DVD containing the textless ending clip.

Diamond no Ace 6th Ending Theme TV Spot

Pony Canyon have posted the TV Spot which features Diamond no Ace‘s sixth ending theme song, FINAL VICTORY by Seidou High Baseball Club (Ryota Ohsaka, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Natsuki Hanae). The new ending theme started being used in the anime series from episode 64.

The single is scheduled for release on January 28th.

In addition to this, it has been revealed that the third OVA will be centered towards the reverse ace pitcher of Seidou Highschool, Kawakami Norifumi. The cast was also announced, which are four of the second-year students. The story is an original, thus it wasn’t taken place in the manga. The limited edition set will be released on March 17, 2015.

The manga, Diamond no Ace, was published by Kodansha and was serialized by Weekly Shounen Magazine since 2006. There are will be 45 compiled manga volumes as of tomorrow. An anime adaptation was premiered on October 6, 2013 and is still airing. It was announced that it will end on March 2015. The anime was produced by a collaboration of Madhouse (Hajime no Ippo, Chihayafuru) and Production I.G (Kuroko no Basuke, Haikyuu!!).

Synopsis of Diamond no Ace from Haruhichan:

The story follows Eijun Sawamura, a pitcher who joins an elite school with a brilliant catcher named Kazuya Miyuki. Together with the rest of the team, they strive for Japan’s storied Koushien championships through hard work and determination.

Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni ‘Shomin Sample’ Toshite Rachirareta Ken TV Anime Staff Announced

The main cast of the upcoming anime adaptation of Takafumi Nanatsuki and Gekka Uruu’s Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Rachirareta Ken (I Was Kidnapped As a “Sample Commoner” for a Princess School.) light novel series has been revealed in the 6th volume of the series’ manga adaptation by Risumai.

The volume has also revealed the first members of the upcoming series’ staff, which includes:

Series Composer: Kento Shimoyama (Bleach, Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden)

The anime adaptation of the series was first revealed on the official website of Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Rachirareta Ken back in July last year.

Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Rachirareta Ken (I Was Kidnapped As a “Sample Commoner” for a Princess School.) is a light novel series written by Takafumi Nanatsuki and illustrated by Gekka Uruu. The series was first published in 2011 in Ichijinsha’s Bunko imprint. To date there has been a total of 8 compiled volumes and the 9th volume will be released on the 20th of January. A manga adaptation of the series started serialization began in 2012 in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex magazine, written by Nanatsuki and illustrated by Risumai, where a total of 6 volumes have been released.

Here is a synopsis of the series from Haruhichan:

In a hidden school surrounded by mountains, young ladies of good families are taught everything a high class lady needs to know. They are also completely cut off from the outside world, keeping them sheltered and innocent. However, a problem has come up recently– more and more graduates are failing to cope with the modern world after graduation. To deal with this problem, they’ve decided to kidnap a male commoner student, and enroll him as a student. They hope that this will be a gentle way to introduce the girls to the outside world.

Kagurazaka Kimito is chosen for this dubious honor, mostly because he seems utterly average. However, the school leaders also seem to have concluded he’s a homosexual with a muscle fetish. When Kimito hears that the alternative may be castration (to protect the girls’ purity), he eagerly plays along with this misconception. Now he’ll just have to survive the attention of many high class young ladies that are completely out of touch with the world!

The Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni “Shomin Sample” Toshite Rachirareta Ken anime will be broadcasting later this year. More information about the anime will be revealed in the upcoming months.

Anime Trailer for Toukiden: Kiwami Reveals Release Date

A anime trailer has been released for Toukiden: Kiwami revealing that the game will be out on the Vita and the PS4 on March 27 in Europe and March 31 in North America. The anime trailer itself showcases some of the new Oni you will battle and characters you will fight alongside with in the upcoming game. The trailer is animated by Studio 4°C (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc films, Mahou Shoujo Tai Arusu) and directed by Jiro Kanai (Street Fighter IV: Arata naru Kizuna). The game is an enhanced release to the 2013/2014 PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita title Toukiden: The Age of Demons. Toukiden: Kiwami will contain double the number of Oni, new characters, weapons, items and Mitama characters.

Toukiden: Kiwami will be releasing on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 on March 27 in Europe and March 31 in North America.
