One of Nitroplus’ most iconic heroines returns with this fantastic figure by WING. Based on her appearance at Jingai Makyou’s climax, this figure features the flame-haired Ignis in her signature black dress with an amazing level of detail that shows off her impressive figure. She also comes with a cool sword, and of course, her whole dress can be removed to reveal her gorgeous breasts and body.
Another great design from amazing bishoujo illustrator; Tony Taka gets an awesome figure. Featuring Innocent Fairy Freesia from Tony’s Heroine Collection. Figure maker Kotobukiya has done a wonderful job at perfectly replicating Tony’s signature character design. The butterfly wings are gorgeous, Freesia’s lingerie is spot on, and her cute expression is just full of life.
Earlier in the week rumours were going around about a supposedly leak of the November issue of Fujimi Shobo’s monthly Dragon Magazine that had information regarding the newly announced Full Metal Panic! anime and the sequel of Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata. The issue has now been released in Japan and no such information was revealed.
The latest issue of Dragon Magazine has been released, but none of the claims from the rumours was present. The leak mentioned that the upcoming anime adaptation of Shoji Gatoh and Shiki Douji’s Full Metal Panic! light novel series would be directed by Tomoki Kyoda (Eureka Seven AO, RahXephon) and produced by animation studio Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist, Noragami). To further prove this leak wrong, Kyoda himself went on twitter to mention that he has no current knowledge about the anime’s production.
The leak also mentioned that the second season of Fumiaki Maruto and Kurehito Misaki’s Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata would broadcast from October, in the Fall/Autumn 2016 anime season. The issue has no details about this.

Digimon (Digital Monsters in Japan) is a large multimedia franchise that was based on Bandai’s Digivice products, which first released in 1997. The toys were based on Tamagotchis, which were also produced by Bandai. The toys were seen as more female orientated products, so Bandai created a new line of products for a male equivalent. The first anime adaptation, Digimon Adventure, was produced in 1999 by Toei Animation. A film and TV anime were released alongside each other in 1999, the movie being a 20 minute anime produced by Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). Following the relative success of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, Bandai Namco decided to give the West Sword Art Online: Lost Song, to continue the trend of the West getting large influxes of Japanese games. For North America, this also marked the first time a Sword Art Online game has been sold in physical form, as Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment was digital only. In Japan, Lost Song released on PS3 and Playstation Vita. For the West, we got the Vita version, but Bandai Namco decided to port the PS3 version onto PS4 instead of releasing it on the flagging PS3. A new developer was responsible for creating Lost Song and it has a different style of gameplay than its predecessors. While Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment focused more on the style of gameplay you would find in traditional MMOs, Lost Song opts for more action. How would this turn out? Let’s find out!
*I only play the Sword Art Online games. I only have basic knowledge of the light novels and anime.
Story and Characters:
The game takes place in Alfheim Online (ALO), the second arc of the Sword Art Online story. The story of Lost Song was written by Reki Kawahara, the author of the Sword Art Online light novels. Ignoring the storyline established in the light novels and anime, the game follows the story following Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. The story of Lost Songis pretty simple. Kirito joins ALO along with everyone else from Sword Art Online, and the game starts a few months after he joins in. ALO has just introduced a major update, including a brand new area called Svart Alfheim. Kirito and the others rush to beat this new area. In the meantime, Kirito also becomes interested in a player called Seven, the leader of Shamrock, the most powerful guild in Alfheim Online. In the real world, Seven is a brilliant young scientist, and she is also an idol. Kirito hopes to learn more about virtual reality from her, which is only possible if he is able to join Shamrock.
The adorable Seven, and her right-hand man, Sumeragi, look to be the main plot point for this game.
All of the main characters in Sword Art Online as well as the characters introduced in Hollow Fragment, join Kirito in this game. If you’ve read the light novels, or watched the anime, you’re likely to see much of the same kind of thing out of the characters in this game as you would in the LNs and the anime series. The game also brings back the game original characters from Hollow Fragment, Philia and Strea, and they also bring in Sinon and Yuuki, despite them not being in the original ALO story. I am assuming that Seven will join the group later, as well as new game original character, Rain. I’m only about two or three hours into the game, and I’ve already unlocked all of the original SAO cast as party members.
There may be a couple of times during the game when you want to kick back and relax, and see the cast of SAO go back to some of their antics. Luckily, the game has plenty of little side quests that either will result in a battle, or may be there just for fun. There’s plenty of misadventures with Kirito and friends and the humour might illicit a chuckle or two out of you. As someone who hasn’t read or watched Sword Art Online, and relying mostly on accounts told to me by other people, this seems like it’s right in the ballpark for any SAO fans.
Busted!
Gameplay:
As mentioned before, this game focuses more on action that the previous SAO games. Attacks are mapped to the Square and Triangle buttons for weak and strong attacks respectively. Strong attacks lower your Stamina gauge, which recharges over time. Skills are activated by holding R1 (R on Vita) and pressing another button. You can map your skills to these buttons. Skills deplete mana, and mana refills pretty slowly in combat, so you have to pick and choose when to use your skills. Another part of the game is flight. Flight is mapped to the D-pad, with Up activating flight, the side buttons activating hovering, and Down to cancel flight. Flying around is a lot of fun, and it provides a new perspective on the world, since you usually can’t do this in games. Standard flight controls apply, where pressing Up makes your character descend, and pressing Down makes your character ascend. It takes a while to get used to if you’re not used to flight controls in games. You can fight in the sky as well, and the fights play out pretty similarly. Fights are pretty fun to play, though being an action game, fun factor is determined by how much you care about pulling off the same combos over and over again. To mix things up, all the characters you unlock are playable, so if you don’t want to play as Kirito, you don’t have to. If you ever wanted to play as Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, or whoever you wanted, you are able to in this game. You are able to take up to two other party members with you, and the AI is actually half-decent at fighting. They may not always attack who you want them to, but they do their job. It’s not like some games where the AI seems to have a death wish with their character. There is also a multiplayer mode in this game, where you can take on quests together or take part in PvP fights. I have yet to try out the multiplayer as I don’t have Playstation Plus as a PS4 player, but from what I hear, the multiplayer works pretty well.
Where I start to have issues with the game is when it comes to the camera. In towns, the camera doesn’t always have your character centered in the middle; it’s slightly to the left, which doesn’t really make sense to me. In addition, the camera follows you too closely in town. The camera is positioned right behind you in town. In the field, the camera is centered on your character and it’s zoomed out more, which I like. Where the camera also has issues is during fights if you choose to use the lock-on feature (holding L1 or L on the Vita). Moving the camera is with the right analog stick as usual, but using the right analog stick also switches targets in lock-on mode. So if you just wanted to change your angle on whatever you’re fighting, and there’s other enemies nearby, you might accidentally change your target and force the camera to change along with it. If you’re in a particularly tough fight, it could potentially spell your doom, so that is a major issue. Another annoyance is trying to skip over some dialogue or exiting a menu. To exit a menu, you have to press Circle. However, if you’re talking to a shopkeeper or a NPC, the Circle button is also used to initiate conversation (the X button is mapped to jumping). So when you want to exit a menu, make sure not to mash the button as you probably usually would, or you’ll just enter a loop.
Presentation:
On the PS4, it is fairly obvious this was a PS3 game. All they really did was smooth out the textures, and they made the character models look better. The frame rate is pretty steady, even during some of the more frantic fights, although the characters’ animation can be a little stiff. The world itself looks pretty good from an artistic perspective so that still holds up. All of the voice actors from the anime return to voice their characters in the game, featuring Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya, Haruka Tomatsu as “Asuna” Yuuki, and Ayana Taketatsu as Suguha “Leafa” Kirigaya. Artist abec, the artist for the series, returns to do the event scene character models as well as the CG scenes in the game. One of my favourite parts of the game is the opening song, “Cynthia no Hikari“, by Eir Aoi. Eir Aoi performed the second opening of the first season, “INNOCENCE”, the ending for the SAO Extra Edition, “虹の音” (Niji no Oto), as well as the first opening of the second season, “IGNITE”. It’s just a shame they opted to not have the opening play whenever you start the game. Once you pass the prologue, you can see the opening and then if you want to watch it again, you have to go to the inn and watch it in the gallery.
Initial Thoughts:
If you’re not a fan of Sword Art Online already, you probably won’t find much here to change your mind. From what I get, it looks to be standard fare for a game of Sword Art Online. The gameplay is decent, but nothing groundbreaking. The flight mechanic is one of the stronger parts of the gameplay, and just taking in the sights as you fly over the world is a great feeling. The camera and lock-on issues throw the game off its pace however, and not being able to change the controls is frustrating.
However, if you are a fan of the series, I would say this is a good game to jump into to play with your favourite characters, since they’re all here. This feels like Sword Art Online, from the characters, to the event scenes, there’s plenty here to enjoy. This is also a story written by the author himself, so if you like his work, then you will likely feel right at home. I’m not much of a fan myself, but I’m having fun with it right now. That may change when I get deeper, but as of right now, it’s enjoyable.
Anyone have their thoughts on this game? Leave it in the comments below!

The search for the Dragon Balls is over! In Nagoya there’s a restaurant, Danke Dinning, that will serve you Dragon Ball-themed hot pots (鍋 or “nabe” in Japanese).
The Dragon Balls are made from collagen jelly and the stars inside are made from carrots. The dish is called, “Dragon Ball Nabe.” For those of you who are unfamiliar with what collagen jelly is, this dish might sound iffy. Collagen jelly is actually another name for gelatin! It is made from various animal products, and is generally flavorless (unless the chef adds in something special). Gelatin is found in most gummy candies such as gummy bears, or marshmallows, some ice creams, and yogurts. It’s also used for pharmaceuticals!
Nagoya is mostly known for their unique local cusine, Nagoya meshi, and this dish is certainly a grand new addition!
Here is the nabe before it is cooked
It looks like this dish has attracted a lot of attention, gaining a spot on Japanese television!

Love Live! School Idol Project is an original anime produced by Sunrise studios that aired in January 2013. The conception of the anime project was started in 2010 by Dengeki G’s Magazine. The editors wanted parts of the project to be heavily influenced by fans, parts such as the costumes, hairstyles and names of the idols. While this project was taking place, a manga of the project called Love Live!, written and illustrated by Sakurako Kimino and Arumi Tokita, began serializing. An anime series soon premiered, followed by an app and an OVA. The second season titled Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season aired from April 6, 2014 to June 29, 2014 for a total of 13 episodes.

Amidst this culture clash, the school now faces closure due to the enrollment of fewer and fewer students.
With the school planning to close within three years, nine female students come together with one thing in mind—form a pop idol group to revive the school’s popularity and keep it from shutting down. “In order to protect our beloved school, there’s only one thing we can do… become pop stars!”

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 19, 1997; the individual chapters are being published in tankoubon volumes by Shueisha, with the first released on December 24, 1997, and the 75th volume released as of September 2014. One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man whose body gains the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit, and his diverse crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy explores the ocean in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as One Piece in order to become the next Pirate King.
The chapters have been adapted into an original video animation (OVA) produced by Production I.G in 1998, and an anime series produced by Toei Animation, which began broadcasting in Japan in 1999. Since then, the still continuing series has aired over 672 episodes. Additionally, Toei has developed thirteen animated feature films, two OVA’s, and five television specials.
One Piece has received wide critical acclaim, primarily for its art, characterization, humor and story. Several volumes of the manga have broken publishing records, including highest initial print run of any book in Japan and the first book to sell over three million copies in Oricon history. As of 2013, the series had over 345 million volumes in circulation worldwide, making it the best-selling manga series in history.
Gol D. Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece(which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King.
Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy’s reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece, are his reasons of becoming a pirate. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.

Nurse Witch Komugi is an original video animation (OVA) anime series co-produced by Tatsunoko Production and Kyoto Animation. The series lasted for five episodes (six if episode 2.5 that appeared in the middle of the series is included), all of which were released on DVD in North America by ADV Films. A two episode long sequel OVA series was created, Nurse Witch Komugi-chan Magicarte Z.
The story of the anime itself is basically a parody of both the The SoulTaker anime series and the magical girl anime genre. It revolves around Komugi Nakahara, a cosplay idol who turns into Magical Nurse Witch Komugi when trouble is around.
While the English dub of the show was adapted by ADV, the original The SoulTaker dub was not. In a rare move, ADV recalled many of the voice actors from The Ocean Group dub of The SoulTaker to reprise their roles in Nurse Witch Komugi to keep consistency between the two dubs.
An anime TV series has been announced.
Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R synopsis from Haruhichan:
The new “slapstick” story will depict Komugi-chan and her rivals as they juggle their daily lives as students, idols, and magical girls “with laughter and tears.”
Komugi Yoshida is a somewhat clumsy second-year middle-school student whose strong point is her spiritedness. She performs as an idol like Kokona Saionji (her classmate and close friend) and Tsubasa Kisaragi (an idol who dresses in male clothing). However, unlike Kokona whose popularity is skyrocketing and Tsubasa with her charisma in male attire, Komugi’s only gigs are low-end ones like those at the local shopping district. Still, Komugi has her “dream” as she lives her dual lives as a idol and a middle school girl.
One day, a mysterious injured creature named Usa-P appears before Komugi. Komugi gives Usa-P medical treatment, and Usa-P, in consideration of Komugi’s kindness, asks if she wants to be a Legendary Girl who can use magical powers.
Having become a reluctant Legendary Girl, Komugi battles strange masked figures who suddenly appear! As a newly deemed Magical Nurse, she fights still more waves of masked figures. Meanwhile, a Magical Maid, a Magical Sister, and more also appear to make it a three-way battle!? Can Komugi handle the three roles of middle school girl, idol, and Magical Nurse? And, what lies ahead in these battles and her “dream”…?!
