The official Twitter account of the WIXOSS franchise has announced that a brand new anime is being produced to air this Fall. The new anime series will be titled Lostorage Incited WIXOSS.
Not much information has been revealed about the upcoming anime, including the format of the anime and whether it is a continuation of the previous anime. The Tweet does mention that it will be the third year for a WIXOSS anime.
Selector Infected WIXOSS is an 2014 original anime series animated by J.C. Staff (Toradora!, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo) and directed by Takuya Satou (Steins;Gate, Seitokai no Ichizon). A card game titled WIXOSS was produced alongside the anime by Takara Tomy in 2014. A second season of the anime, Selector Spread WIXOSS, was produced for the Fall 2014 anime season with an anime film earlier this year.

WIXOSS is a card game that’s popular with teenagers. Supposedly there exist “LRIG Cards,” female character cards with wills of their own. It’s said that whoever triumphs in these battles will have their wish granted. Ruko Kominato is the latest girl to find an LRIG card. She names her card Tama, and without any further explanation is thrown into her life as a Selector.
Hibike! Euphonium: Kitauji Koukou Suisougaku-bu e Youkoso (Sound! Euphonium) is a music novel series written by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Nikki Asada. The series began in December 2013 being published by Takarajimasha. To date a total of 4 volumes have been published. A manga adaptation of the series was launched in November last year, by Ayano Takeda and Hami that is being published in Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web magazine. An anime adaptation of the series was produced for the Spring 2015 anime season by Kyoto Animation (Hyouka, Amagi Brilliant Park) with Tatsuya Ishihara (Clannad, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) directing. The anime ran for a total of 13 episodes.
Hibike! Euphonium begins when Kumiko Oumae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school’s brass band club as a first year. Kumiko’s classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school.

The 4th volume of Cool Kyoushinsha’s Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) manga has announced that the series will be adapted into a TV Anime.
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) is a comedy slice of life manga written and illustrated by Cool Kyoushinsha that began in 2013 under Futabasha’s Monthly Action magazine. Since its debut, a total of 4 compiled volumes have been released. Cool Kyoushinsha is also known for the Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken 4koma, which was also adapted into an anime series.

The official website of songwriter and manga creator JIN’s Kagerou Project mixed-media project revealed on Thursday that there will be a short anime movie to be released in Winter 2016. The production claims the anime is the first “short movie” in Japan to be produced exclusively with MX4D presentation in mind. The theatrical anime titled MX4D Kagerou Daze -in a days-, will be based on JIN’s Kagerou Days novel series.
The theatrical anime will be directed by the manga’s illustrator and character designer, Sidu. The movie is to be produced by 1ST PLACE/JUMONJI.
The Kagerou Project, also known as Kagerou Daze, is a Japanese mixed-media project. It started as a Vocaloid song series created by Jin (Shizen no Teki-P). The story revolves around the Mekakushi Dan, a group of teenagers with unusual eye-related powers.
The series became popular on the video sharing website Niconico after the release of the song “Kagerou Daze”, which also gave the series its name. The song has amassed over 3 million views and is the most popular song of the project. Six light novels have been released, written by Jin and illustrated by Sidu. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Mahiro Satou (佐藤まひろ Satō Mahiro?), began serialization in Monthly Comic Gene on June 15, 2012. A 12-episode anime adaptation titled Mekakucity Actors —”Mekakucity” being a portmanteau of “mekakushi” (“blindfold” in Japanese) and “city”—aired between April 12 and June 28, 2014. The series was directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and produced by Shaft.

The latest volume of Kore Yamazaki’s The Ancient Magus’ Bride (Mahoutsukai no Yome) manga has revealed that the series will be receiving a prequel anime: The Ancient Magus’ Bride – The Man Who Waits for Stars (Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito). It will be receiving a three episode OVA adaptation from Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Owari no Seraph).
There will be three episodes of the anime prequel that will be bundled with the upcoming volumes of the parent manga. Limited editions of volumes 6, 7 and 8 will be bundled with an episode each. The first OVA will also be shown in 8 theatres throughout Japan for two weeks from August 13th.

Mahoutsukai no Yome is a fantasy slice of life manga written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki. The series began in late 2013 being serialized under Mag Garden’s Comic Blade magazine before being moved to their Comic Garden magazine in 2014. A total of 5 volumes have been released to date.

This year’s 20th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the 33rd compiled book volume of Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter manga is slated for a June 3 release in Japan.
The manga has been on hiatus since 2014’s combined 37th/38th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2014. What was initially a two-week hiatus for serious lower back pain has extended due to health issues until the 20th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Hunter x Hunter is a manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series started in 1998 and is published in Shueisha’s weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. To date the series has a total of 32 volumes. Yoshihiro Togashi placed the manga on hiatus in March 2012 after setting the record for longest run without breaks, without any news of when the manga will return. The series received an anime adaptation in 1999 from Nippon Animation that ended in 2001, followed by a series of OVAs. A new animated series relaunched in 2011 from Madhouse, retelling the series from the start. Madhouse also produced two animated films, which released in 2013. There has also been two musicals based on the series, and a slew of video games have been released from Konami and Bandai Namco.

The figure stands 4.29 inches tall, and features a neutral, angry, and surprised faceplates. For accessories, a jojo-dachi recreating part, a hair comb, and school bag are included in the set. The Kyoto Red Cross Blood Center has announced a brand new collaboration campaign with Kyoto Animation’s (Hyouka, Amagi Brilliant Park) anime adaptation of Ayano Takeda and Nikki Asada’s Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium). In the campaign’s announcement, it initially revealed that the upcoming second season of the anime will air this Fall.
The campaign’s website briefly listed that the second season will air this Fall/Autumn, which generally begins in October, before been edited a short time later. It read:

The 11th volume of Type-Moon Ace has revealed a brand new visual for upcoming anime adaptation of Type-Moon’s Fate/ExtraPlayStation Portable game, Fate/EXTRA Last Encore. The TV anime will air in 2017.

The Fate/Extra adaptation will be titled Fate/EXTRA Last Encore and is currently slated for air in 2017. The series will be animated by studio Shaft (Bakemonogatari, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica) with Kinoko Nasu (Fate/stay night, Kara no Kyoukai) handling the series’ composition. Fate/EXTRA is a JRPG that is set in a parallel universe to the main game. It was released in Japan on July 2010 for the PSP, with a spin-off titled Fate/EXTRA CCC being released in March 2013. The Opening animated sequence to the game was animated by studio Shaft and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo (Bakemonogatari, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica).
Fate/stay nightis a visual novel released by Type-Moon for the PC in 2004, and is the first in their Fate series. The visual novel was very successful and claimed the title of highest selling visual novel in that year. 2006 saw two adaptations of the game, a manga by Datto Nishiwaki and an anime series by Studio Deen. Additionally in that year, a light novel series titled Fate/Zerowas written by Gen Urobuchi. It is a prequel to the visual novels, set 10 years prior. An anime and manga adaptation of Fate/Zero were created, with the manga written by Urobuchi himself in 2011 and the anime being animated by ufotable. A second season of Fate/Zerowas also produced. uftoable produced a new Fate/stay night anime based on the Unlimited Blade Works route and is producing a Fate/stay nighttrilogy based on the Heaven’s Feel Route.

The official website for the anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure – Part IV: Diamond Is Unbreakable has revealed that the series will have a total of 39 episodes, to be released across 13 three episode DVD/Blu-rays between June 2016 and June 2017. Along with these release plans is the news that “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan,” the spin-off one-shot from 2013 narrated by manga author Stand-user Rohan Kishibe will be adapted into an OAD, offered on DVD for collectors of the complete series.

Beginning its tale in 19th century England, young aristocrat Jonathan Joestar finds himself locked in bitter rivalry with Dio Brando, a low-born boy who Jonathan’s father took under his wing after the death of Dio’s father. Discontent with his station in life, Dio’s fathomless lust to reign over all eventually leads him to seek the supernatural powers of an ancient Aztec stone mask in the Joestar’s possession—an artifact that will forever change the destiny of Dio and Jonathan for generations to come. Fifty years later, in 1938 New York City, Jonathan’s grandson Joseph Joestar must take up his grandfather’s mission and master the abilities necessary to destroy the stone mask and its immensely powerful creators who threaten humanity’s very existence, the Pillar Men.

The official website of the previously announcedPlanetarian (Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume) anime adaptation has revealed that the anime project will consists of an ONA (Original Net Animation) series and an animated film.
There will be two anime adaptations based on Key’s Planetarian coming this year. The first, titled Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume, will be an ONA series composed of 5 episodes that will be streaming on Niconico. The first will be available this Summer on July 7th.
The second adaptation is an anime film titled Planetarian: Hoshi no Hito that will release in Japanese theatres on September 3rd. The movie has been revealed to be adapting a side story from the visual novel.
The cast members of the game’s main characters will return to voice their respective characters:
Keiko Suzuki (Haruka Saigusa in Little Busters!) will return to voice Yumemi Hoshino
Daisuke Ono (Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler) is back as Kuzuya

Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet (Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume) is a Japanese kinetic/visual novel developed by Key and published by Visual Arts. The game was released on PC in late 2004 in Japan, before being ported onto the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable in subsequent years. The series was also adapted into a light novel series and a series of Drama CDs. The game itself became available internationally on Steam in 2014.

It is thirty years after the failure of the Space Colonization Program. Humanity is nearly extinct. A perpetual and deadly Rain falls on the Earth. Men known as “Junkers” plunder goods and artifacts from the ruins of civilization. One such Junker sneaks alone into the most dangerous of all ruins—a “Sarcophagus City.” In the center of this dead city, he discovers a pre-War planetarium. And as he enters he is greeted by Hoshino Yumemi, a companion robot. Without a single shred of doubt, she assumes he is the first customer she’s had in 30 years. Type-Moon Ace Vol.11 has revealed a brand new visual for ufotable’s (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin) upcoming Fate/stay night – Heaven’s Feel anime trilogy.
ufotable’s (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin) upcoming Fate/stay night – Heaven’s Feel movie will be releasing in Japanese theatres in 2017. There will be a total of 3 films.
Fate/stay nightis a visual novel released by Type-Moon for the PC in 2004, and is the first in their Fate series. The visual novel was very successful and claimed the title of highest selling visual novel in that year. 2006 saw two adaptations of the game, a manga by Datto Nishiwaki and an anime series by Studio Deen. Additionally in that year, a light novel series titled Fate/Zerowas written by Gen Urobuchi. It is a prequel to the visual novels, set 10 years prior. An anime and manga adaptation of Fate/Zero were created, with the manga written by Urobuchi himself in 2011 and the anime being animated by ufotable. A second season of Fate/Zerowas also produced. ufotable produced a new Fate/stay night anime based on the Unlimited Blade Works route and is producing a Fate/stay night film based on the Heaven’s Feel Route.

The anime adaptation of Fate/stay night – Heaven’s Feel will consist of 3 movies. The films are currently scheduled to release in Japan in 2017. The full version of the new visual will be out with the magazine’s release.
