A new key visual for anime adaptation of Ayano Takeda’s Sound! Euphonium (Hibike! Euphonium) light novel series has been featured as a visual in the July issue of NewType. The new visual shows the girls from the series enjoying the springtime. This issue of NewType can be purchased here.

Sound! Euphonium Welcome to Kitauji High School’s Musical Instrument Club is a Japanese novel by Ayano Takeda, published on December 5, 2013 by Takarajimasha. The story focuses on the Kitauji High School Music Club, which is steadily improving thanks to the newly appointed adviser’s strict instruction. An anime adaptation has been announced.

Hibike! Euphonium begins when Kumiko Oumae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school’s brass band club as a first year. Kumiko’s classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school.

Monster Musume Cerea Visual Revealed

A new visual for the anime adaptation of Takemaru Inui’s popular Monster Musume manga has been revealed in the July issue of popular Japanese magazine NewType. The new visual features Cerea, the centauride who happens to be the third resident of Kurusu’s home. This issue of NewType can be purchased here.

Recently a new visual featuring Cerea was featured in Megami which can be purchased here.

Recently a video previewing the upcoming anime adaptation of Takemaru Inui’s popular Monster Musume manga. The video contains clips of the anime and previews the opening theme song, “Top Speed Fall in Love,” sung by the female cast members, in the background.

The anime adaptation was revealed on the 7th manga volume of Takemaru Inui’s manga series Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Everyday That There Is a Monster Girl), there was wraparound jacket band announcement revealing that the TV anime adaptation of the manga will premiere this July, during the summer 2015 anime season.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou, usually translated as “Everyday Life with Monster Girls” but also as “Daily Life with a Monster Girl” or “Everyday Monster Girls“, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Okayado. The manga first began as a series of hentai one-shots. An anime adaption has been announced to Air in July 2015.

Monster Musume is currently published in Japan by Tokuma Shoten in their Monthly Comic Ryu magazine and by Seven Seas Entertainment in the United States, with the chapters collected and reprinted into—so far—6 tankobon volumes. The story revolves around Kimihito Kurusu, often referred to as “Darling” among various other things, a Japanese student whose life is totally thrown into turmoil after becoming involved with the “Interspecies Cultural Exchange” program by mistake.

Monsters—they’re real, and they want to date us! Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood—not to mention scale, feather, horn, and fang. Thanks to the “Cultural Exchange Between Species Act,” these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they’re trying.

When a hapless human named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a “volunteer” into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu’s job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what’s a full-blooded young man with raging hormones to do?!

Rokka no Yuusha Anime Air Date, Visual & Promotional Video Revealed

The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Ishio Yamagata and Miyagi’s Rokka no Yuusha (Heroes of the Six Flowers) light novel series has revealed that the TV series will be premiering on July 5th on MBS. In addition, the main cast, a brand new visual, a set of wallpapers and a brand new promotional video were all also revealed.

The Rokka no Yuusha anime adaptation will be airing this Summer from Sunday, July 5th at 4:58am JST on MBS. The anime will also air on AT-X on the 5th at 5:00pm JST, on Tokyo MX on the 8th at 11:30pm JST, and from BS11 on the 11th at 11:00pm JST. The series will also be streamed online on Niconico, GYAO! and on Bandai Channel.

The main theme songs of the anime were earlier revealed. The Opening theme will be “Cry for the Truth” by Mich and the Ending theme will be “Secret Sky” also performed by Mich.

There will also be a pre-screening event of the anime on Saturday the 27th of June. The first two episode of the anime will be shown to attendees where there will also be a special talk session with Yoko Hikasa and Aoi Yuuki. It will be held at the Space FS Shiodome and tickets will sell for ¥1,500 (~ $12.15 USD).

The action-fantasy seinen light novel series was published on August 25, 2011 and is still ongoing. It was written by Ishio Yamagata and drawn by Terui (Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru). It has received a manga adaptation on February 25, 2012 and it was illustrated by Kei Toru (Akame ga Kill! Zero). It was serialized on Shueisha’s Super Dash & Go! magazine. On Friday, November 21, Shueisha’s Dash X Bunko will print the fifth compiled light novel volume and the third compiled manga volume.

Synopsis of Rokka no Yuusha from Haruhichan:

When the “Majin” awakes, the goddess of fate will choose six warriors and bestow them with the power to save the world. Somewhere on their bodies, a crest in the shape of a flower will appear and as a result the warriors are “The Heroes of the Six Flowers.” As the day of the Majin’s revival nears, Adlet, a boy who calls himself the strongest man in the world, is chosen as one of the “Six Flowers.” But when the heroes arrived at their designated location, they found that there were seven heroes present. Which meant that one of them was an imposter and an enemy. Confused by the impossible situation, suspicion and paranoia spread among the chosen. And within a thick forest, the heroes’ fierce battle begins!

The Rokka no Yuusha anime will begin its broadcast from July 5th at 4:58am JST on MBS during the Summer 2015 anime season. Further information about the series will be revealed soon.

Dragon Ball Super Teaser Streamed

A new teaser for the upcoming new TV anime series from the Dragon Ball franchise titled Dragon Ball Super was unveiled at the end of the latest Dragonball Kai episode today. The opening song is titled “Chozetsu Dynamic!” and performed by Kazuya Yoshii with the ending song titled “Hello Hello Hello,” is performed by the Japanese band Good Morning America. In addition to this, the website revealed earlier that Goku will face a mysterious character in the new series.

The new series will feature an original story by Akira Toriyama, the creator of the initial Dragon Ball manga. Dragon Ball Super will premiere this July on Fuji TV and will air weekly.

The story will take place chronologically after the Majin Buu Saga arc, which is currently airing in a remastered version that adheres more to the original manga. Titled Dragon Ball Kai, the TV anime began airing in April 2014 and will complete in June 2015, just prior to Dragon Ball Super. This series is a continuation of the original Dragon Ball reboot, also titled Dragon Ball Kai, which aired between April 2009 and March 2011.

Digimon Adventure Tri. Character Design Visuals Revealed

The official website of the Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary has been updated with new character visuals, and chance to win tickets for Digimon Adventure Fes. 2015. It was also revealed that an event will be held on August 1 at the Toyosu PIT concert hall, which will look back at Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 and showcase a new preview of Digimon Adventure Tri.

In addition to this, the official website of the Digimon Adventure 15th Anniversary had Davis (Daisuke) from the second season of the Digimon anime, Digimon Adventure 02, in its meta tags last May. This may hint that he might appear in the upcoming Digimon Adventure tri. anime, as well as any other characters from the second season.

Davis himself is the main character from Digimon Adventure 02 and this piece of information could hint that he could be appearing in the third season. This could also mean that other characters or Digimon from the second season would also appear and that the events that occurred in 02 could carry over. There is also a possibility that his name is there just for SEO.

The first footage of Digimon Adventure tri. has been recently released which has revealed lots of new information about the upcoming series. It has revealed that the anime will be released in Japanese cinemas and will run for a total of 6 episodes. The first episode will be titled Saikai (Reunion). An event will be held on August 1st which will have a special screening of the anime’s first episode, before being released in Japanese cinemas on November 21st this year.

Toei Animation released the first teaser video about the new series:

Digimon (Digital Monsters in Japan) is a large multimedia franchise that was based on Bandai’s Digivice products, which first released in 1997. The toys were based on Tamagotchis, which were also produced by Bandai. The toys were seen as more female orientated products, so Bandai created a new line of products for a male equivalent. The first anime adaptation, Digimon Adventure, was produced in 1999 by Toei Animation. A film and TV anime were released alongside each other in 1999, the movie being a 20 minute anime produced by Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). Since then there has been numerous anime series, toys, figures, manga, video games and trading card games in the franchise. And this year, will mark the 15th anniversary of Digimon Adventure.

Only time will tell whether if Davis or any of the other characters from Digimon Adventure 02 will appear in the upcoming anime. Digimon Adventure tri. will be a 6 part anime film series with the first episode releasing in Japan on November 21st this year. An advanced screening of the episode will be revealed at Digi-Festa on August 1st. Further information about the anime will be revealed soon.

It has been revealed that the 4-koma manga Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita. will receive a sequel OVA. Not much information about the upcoming OVA has been revealed. No release date has yet been given.

Locodol, short for Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita., is a Japanese four-panel comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kotaro Kosugi. New God Eater Anime Visual Revealed

A new visual of ufotable’s upcoming anime adaptation of Bandai Namco’s God Eater series has been revealed. The new visual features the main characters Renka Utsugi and Arisa Iriinchina Amieera.

They were also both featured in the July issue of the Japanese anime magazine Animage earlier this month. You can purchase the Animage magazine here.

Last may the official website of ufotable’s upcoming anime adaptation of Bandai Namco’s God Eater series was updated to reveal that the anime will be airing from July 5th this Summer. Additionally, a brand new visual, the first members of the anime’s cast, staff and the first promotional video has also been revealed.

The God Eater anime will debut on July 5th on Tokyo MX at 10:30pm JST. The anime will then air on BS11, Sun TV and other channels in the following days.

The first main members of the anime’s cast has also been revealed. The majority of the cast from the games will return to voice their characters in the anime, with one new original character.

A total of 3 games have been released since its start in 2010. The first game in the series released in Japan in February 2010 for the PlayStation Portable with an updated release titled Gods Eater Burst later in the year, where it also released internationally. A direct sequel to the game was published last year in Japan on the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. The game has been announced to be localised, but no date has been given yet. An anime adaptation by ufotable was announced earlier this year, the released date of the anime is still unknown.

The latest Nagato Yuki-chan No Shoushitsu visualby Studio Satelight perfectly recaps the most recent episode of the anime. As the Spring 2015 anime broadcasts soon come to a close, the Yuki-Chan anime has finally reached episode 10. The most recent episode, Yuki recovers from being hit by a car, only to regain her emotionless personality from her character in the original The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya. The visual displays the Yuki from alternate universe of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya hugging the original Nagato Yuki.

The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan is a spin-off manga in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya franchise, where it stars the eponymous character Yuki Nagato. The series takes place in the alternate universe established in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. The series is written and drawn by Puyo, which started in February 2010. To date, the series has a total of 5 volumes with the 6th volume releasing on December 26th this year.

There is very little information regarding the anime announcement of The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, including whether or no Kyoto Animation will produce it. Two other spin-off manga were also produced into anime: The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya and Nyoron Churuya-san.

Japanese character goods retailer Animate has revealed a preview of Tokyo Ghoul‘s Ken Kaneki hug pillow by Movic. Fans who want to cuddle with Ken Kaneki will have the choice of the Anteiku coffee shop and awakened version. This product is getting released sometime in fall 2015.

In other news it has been revealed that an upcoming OVA of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul spin-off prequel, Tokyo Ghoul JACK, has announced. The OVA is scheduled for fall and the story is centered around the character Kishou Arima, who is a High School student by day and a ghoul investigator by night. The story is also set in and revolves around the 13th ward.

Nisekoi is a manga series that originally started off as a one shot from Naoshi Komi that released in January 2011. Komi then released the manga as a full series later on in the year, when it appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Since 2011, 12 volumes have been released for the romantic comedy. Additionally a voiced comic has also been published and a light novel series. Viz Manga has also picked up the series late 2013 for English localisation, announcing that the chapters would be translated and released in Viz’s Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha. A anime adaptation of the manga aired from January this year and ended in May. The anime is produced by studio Shaft (Bakemonogatari, Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica).

A new key visual for the Aldnoah.Zero anime has been revealed in the latest issue of the Japanese anime magazine Animedia. Aldnoah.Zero is a brand new original series created by Gen Urobuchi, the writer of the Fate/Zero light novels and anime, and Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica. The anime is directed by Ei Aoki who directed the Fate/Zero anime – teaming up with Urobuchi once again. The series is written by the “Olympus Knights”, a group of writers from Nitro+ (known for their science adventure visual novels) that is helmed by Urobuchi. Katsuhiko Takayama (Mirai Nikki) is the series composer, managing the flow and story of the series.

The character concepts are done by Masako Matsumoto (Naruto Shippuden) and the final character designs from Takako Shimura (Aoi Hana). The series features mechs designed by I-IV and Kenji Teraoka (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), and the music is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan). The series is produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail) and studio TROYCA (new studio opened by Aoki). The first series had a total of 12 episodes and was earlier confirmed to be a split cour.

In 1972, the Apollo 17 mission found a hypergate to Mars on the surface of the moon. Upon landing, astronauts discovered a enchanted utility later referred to as ‘Aldnoah’, giving the astronauts a status of superiority. The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Hirotaka Akagi’s Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai (Shimoseka) light novel series unveiled a new visual for the anime on Wednesday, as well as announcing that the anime will premiere on July 4.

The Prison School anime will be airing the first episode on Tokyo MX on July 11th at 1:05am JST. The anime will then air on the 12th at 12:30am JST on KBS Kyoto followed by an airing on TV Aichi at 2:20 am JST. It will then air on BS11 at midnight on the 13th, on Sun TV an hour later at 1:00am JST, and finally at 3:30am JST on AT-X. Akira Hiramoto first launched his manga in the Kodansha’s Young Magazine Weekly in February 2011. The manga won the best General Manga award alongside Yūji Moritaka and Keiji Adachi’s Gurazeni manga at Kodansha’s 37th Annual Manga Awards in May. The same wraparound band on the 14th volume also notes that the manga has more than 3.5 million copies in print.

Akira Hiramoto’s Ago Nashi Gen to Ore Monogatari manga received a mobile phone anime adaptation in 2010. Hiramoto’s Yarisugi Companion to Atashi Monogatari manga inspired a live-action film in 2011. Akira Hiramoto also wrote the award-winning supernatural drama manga Me and the Devil Blues, which Del Rey published in North America.

Prison School (Kangoku Gakuen) synopsis from Haruhichan:

On the outskirts of Tokyo stands Hachimitsu Private Academy, a storied all-girls boarding school for elite young women full of potential and good breeding. But as the new school year rolls around, one tradition is going out the window: For the first time in the school’s long history, boys are being allowed to enroll. But on the first day of school, only five boys make the cut. Kiyoshi Fujino, one of the lucky few, is thrilled by this discovery, his heart leaping with joy at the thought of being surrounded by all those girls, day in and day out. But little does he know of the shocking fate that awaits him.

The Prison School (Kangoku Gakuen) anime will be airing from July 11th at 1:05am JST on Tokyo MX during the Summer 2015 anime season. More information about the series will be revealed in the near future.
