Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is a spin off manga series from Type-Moon’s Fate/stay night franchise by Hiroshi Hiroyama. The manga follows Illyasviel von Einzbern in an alternate universe where she is a magical girl. The manga original released in 2007 in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine and ran for 2 volumes. A sequel series Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei! released in 2009 and another titled Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 3wei! released in 2012, which the latter is still ongoing at 5 volumes to date. The anime adaptation of the first manga series aired in June 2013 and a second series in July last year, both of which were produced by Silver Link (Kokoro Connect, Non Non Biyori).

MOVIEW began streaming new promotional videos for the upcoming Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto OVA on Friday. The OVA will adapt the third story in the Tokyo Ghoul: Hibi novel when Shuu Tsukiyama and Chie Hori met. It is scheduled to release on December 25th.
In addition to this, the issue has also revealed that the previous OVA, Tokyo Ghoul: JACK, will have a limited run in Japanese theatres. The OVA will run from September 5th till the 18th before being released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 30. The OVA is centered around the character Kishou Arima, who is a High School student by day and a ghoul investigator by night. The story is also set in and revolves around the 13th ward.

Finally, the ecchi romantic comedy manga, Mysterious Girlfriend X, was published under Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine from August 25, 2004 to September 25, 2014. The manga has 12 compiled volumes released from September 28, 2012 to November 21, 2014.
The manga received a 13-episode anime adaptation produced by Hoods Entertainment (Fantasista Doll, BlazBlue: Alter Memory). The anime aired on April 8, 2012 to July 1, 2012.

Viz Media announced during their panel yesterday at Baltimore, Maryland’s Otakon 2015 that they have acquired the license to publish Inio Asano’s (Himawari, Solanin) Oyasumi Punpun (Goodnight Punpun) manga. The first volume of the manga will be published on 2016. Viz Media also announced that they will be publishing Takeshi Obata’s (Bakuman, Death Note) Blanc et Noir art book on 2016.

The first volume is slated for their May 2016 line-up.

The official website of the Wake Up, Girls! anime has revealed new information on the upcoming sequel films. There will be a total of two films with the first film, Wake Up, Girls! The Shadow of Youth, releasing in Japan on September 25 and the second film, Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom, is slated for a December release. The first visual of the film was also revealed.
Fans will be able to order advance copies of the films at selected cinemas on release. Each film will have a limited edition 3 disc set that will contain the film on Blu-ray, the OST and special short drama CD. Each set will be sold for ¥8,640 ($70.00). The films will then go on sale with a Blu-ray of the film and the OST, costing ¥7,560 ($61.10) each. The Blu-ray release of Wake Up, Girls! The Shadow of Youth will be out on October 30th and the Blu-ray release of Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom is out on January 19th next year.

The official website for the upcoming adventure RPG Tokyo Ghoul: Jail for the PS Vita has revealed that the game will launch in Japan on October 1 for 5,690 yen ($48.1).

Sound! Euphonium Welcome to Kitauji High School’s Musical Instrument Club is a Japanese novel by Ayano Takeda, published on December 5, 2013 by Takarajimasha. The story focuses on the Kitauji High School Music Club, which is steadily improving thanks to the newly appointed adviser’s strict instruction. An anime adaptation has been announced.
Hibike! Euphonium begins when Kumiko Oumae, a girl who was in the brass band club in junior high school, visits her high school’s brass band club as a first year. Kumiko’s classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at a brass band club contest in junior high school.
From the popular anime series Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kaori Miyazono. The figure is based on an illustration drawn by the original creator of the series, Naoshi Arakawa. It captures the normally energetic Kaori with a slightly uncertain smile on her face.
The violin she holds in her arms has been intricately sculpted based on a real violin, and even the details and texture of her shoes have been carefully thought out. Careful attention has been given to even the smallest parts of the accessories and details of her clothes to create a figure of Kaori that fans will be proud to own.

Over Lord is a Japanese light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. It began serialization online in 2010, before being acquired by Enterbrain. Eight volumes have been published since July 30, 2012. An anime adaptation has been announced. A manga adaptation with art by Hugin Miyama began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s seinen manga magazine Comp Ace from November 26, 2014.
The story begins with Yggdrasil, a popular online game which is quietly shut down one day; however, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as “the most powerful wizard.” The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) begining to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

The anime will be once again directed by Junichi Sato (Kaleido Star, Pretear, Sailor Moon), and will also feature the return of Reiko Yoshida (Tokyo Mew Mew, Bakuman.), who will handle scripts. The new animation’s format has not been specified, although the teaser website listed that an event screening of the anime will occur on September 26. The anime is being produced as part of the larger “Ao no Curtain Call” (Blue Curtain Call) project, which celebrates 10 years since the broadcast of the first Aria anime. “All television series” will also receive a Blu-ray Box release in Japan as part of the same project.
The first anime series, Aria the Animation, was animated at studio Hal Film Maker, and later inspired two more television series in 2006 and 2008, as well as an original video anime in 2007. On the planet Aqua, a world once known as Mars, Akari Mizunashi has just made her home in the town of Neo-VENEZIA, a futuristic imitation of the ancient city of Venice. Nonetheless, the town, with its charming labyrinths of rivers and canals, becomes Akari’s new infatuation, along with the dream of becoming a full-fledged gondolier. The September issue of Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine will be announcing on Saturday that Fairy Tail‘s author, Hiro Mashima, will draw a one-shot based on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Parasyte manga for the magazine’s October issue, which Kodansha will publish on August 25. The magazine teases the one-shot:

The one-shot is the 9th in a series of original “Neo Kiseijuu” (Neo Parasyte) stories by different creators. The project is promoting the Parasyte television anime, which ended in March. Akira Hiramoto (Me and the Devil Blues), Riichi Ueshiba (Mysterious Girlfriend X), and Ryoji Minagawa (Peacemaker) previously wrote one-shots for the series.

Fairy Tail is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. It has been published in Weekly Shonen Magazine since August 2, 2006, and has been published by Kodansha in 50 tankobon volumes; the individual chapters are being published in tankobon volumes by Kodansha, with the first released on December 15, 2006, and the 50th volume released on July 17, 2015. Fairy Tail follows the adventures of Lucy Heartfilia, a teenage wizard, who joins the popular wizards’ guild and teams up with fellow guild member Natsu Dragneel as he searches for the dragon Igneel.
The chapters have been adapted into an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, which began broadcasting in Japan in 2009. The manga was published in North America by first Tokyopop, then Del Rey, and finally Kodansha Comics USA. The manga is being adapted into two live-action films in Japan in 2014 and 2015. An anime television series adaptation by Madhouse, titled Parasyte -the maxim-, aired in Japan between October 2014 and March 2015.
Additional cast for the upcoming OVA of Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul spin-off prequel,Tokyo Ghoul JACK, has been revealed. Tokyo Ghoul: JACK, will have a limited run in Japanese theatres. The OVA will run from September 5th till the 18th before being released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 30. The OVA is centered around the character Kishou Arima, who is a High School student by day and a ghoul investigator by night. The story is also set in and revolves around the 13th ward.

Tokyo Ghoul is a manga series by Sui Ishida. It was serialized in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump between September 2011 and September 2014 and has been collected in fourteen tankobon volumes as of August 2014. A sequel titled Tokyo Ghoul:re began serialization in the same magazine in October 2014 and a prequel titled Tokyo Ghoul: JACK is running online on Jump Live. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by studio Pierrot aired on Tokyo MX between July and September 2014 and a 12 episode second season titled Tokyo Ghoul √A, started airing on January 8, 2015.
During the recent MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2015 event, it was announced that a TV anime series adapting Tappei Nagatsuki and Shintarou Otsuka’s Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Life in a Different World from Zero) light novel series has been green-lit.

Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Life in a Different World from Zero) is a fantasy light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki with illustrations by Shintarou Otsuka. The series started in early 2014 being published under Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J imprint. To date a total of 6 volumes have been published. There have been two manga adaptations produced thus far. The first manga is drawn by Daichi Matsue and published under Monthly Comic Alive where the series ended at 2 volumes. The second series is by Makoto Fugetsu with the first volume releasing in March under Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine.

Suddenly high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. With the biggest crisis of his life being summoned to another world and no sign of the one who summoned him, things become worse when he is attacked. But when he is saved by a mysterious silver-haired girl with a fairy cat, Subaru cooperates with the girl to return the favor. When they finally manage to get a clue, Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed by someone. Subaru then awakens in the place he was summoned and notices he gained the ability “Returns by Death.” A helpless boy that only has the ability to rewind time by dying. And beyond the despair can he save the girl from the fate of death?
