Noragami is a fantasy manga series by Adachitoka that began serialization in Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen Magazine in January 2011’s issue. Noragami synopsis from Haruhichan:

Yato is a minor deity who lacks even a single shrine. In order to build his own shrine and gain recognition as a god, he scrawls his cell number on the wall of a downtown bathroom telling people he will help them in exchange for a 5-yen offering, becoming a self-styled “delivery god.” Hiyori, the daughter of a respectable family, is almost killed in a traffic accident, but is rescued by Yato. This causes her to become a “hanyou,” a person who can exit her body in soul form. She chases Yato down, and they begin to work together to help Yato be recognized. Yato also finds a boy named Yukine who becomes a Regalia, a “sacred treasure” that can be used by a god as a weapon to fight. The three of them battle phantoms who bring harm to humans as Yato’s dark hidden history is gradually revealed.

The anime adaptation announcement was first announced on the cover page for the final chapter of the manga.

Koe No Katachi Anime Adaptation Has Been Green-Lit haruhichan.com A Silent Voice manga The shape of voice anime announced

Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice, The Shape of Voice) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Ooima. Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice, The Shape of Voice) was originally published as a one-shot in the February 2011 issue of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. A remake of the story began serialization in August 2013 in Weekly Shounen Magazine. The series has been green-lit for an anime adaptation.

Koe no Katachi one-shot synopsis from MAL:

A one-shot about a grade school class that accepts a girl with impaired hearing. Although this one-shot won the 80th Weekly Shounen Magazine Newbie Best Mangaka Award, the vector of the content made it difficult for publication on any manga magazine, until it was picked up, after months of legal dispute, by the February edition of Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, where it got first place despite its being a one-shot. This one-shot was recently re-published in 12th issue of the 2013 Weekly Shounen Magazine.

Koe no Katachi synopsis from Haruhichan:

Ishida Shouya bullies a deaf girl, Nishimiya Shouko, to the point that she drops out of school. As a result, he is ostracized and bullied himself with no friends to speak of and no plans for the future.

This is the story of his path to redemption.

Kyoto Animation will be producing the Koe no Katachi anime movie. Further information about the film will be revealed at a later date.

Dimension W is a Japanese manga series written by Yuji Iwahara and published in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine since 2011. The series is licensed in North America by Yen Press. An anime television series is scheduled to air in January 2016.

Dimension W synopsis from Haruhichan:

In the year 2072, the world’s energy problems seem solved by a network of cross-dimensional electric-field inductors—”coils”—that extract energy from a seemingly infinite source. That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions.

In this world, unofficial “illegal” coils harness powers that the police can’t hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyoma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership.

Pash! magazine-Kiznaiver-Anime-Announcement

The first staff members have also been revealed. They include:

  • Director: Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kimi no Iru Machi, Kill la Kill Episode Director)
  • Series Composer: Mari Okada (Hanasaku Iroha, Toradora!)
  • Anime Character Designer: Mai Yoneyama (Kill la Kill and Black Rock Shooter Animation Director)
  • Animation Studio: Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Ninja Slayer)

The first details and character designs have been revealed in the magazine as well. The main cast of characters consists of:

  • Katsuhira Akata
    • The story’s protagonist. His sense of pain and his own feelings are dulled. His moods barely fluctuate, and he pays little attention to other people.
  • Noriko Sonosaki
    • A mysterious and beautiful girl who experienced kizuna (connection) with Katsuhira and the others, and assigns them missions. She is even more emotionless than Katsuhira, and feels no human kindness.
  • Hajime Tenga
    • A muscular idiot who tends not to look before he leaps. While he presents a rude front, he possesses the potential for leadership.Kiznaiver-Anime-Character-Designs-1
  • Tsuguto Yoshida
    • A handsome and self-satisfied honor student who is always surrounded by girls. He is a selfish and calculating man with an underhanded nature, and is cold to other men.
  • Honoka Maki
    • A girl who exudes a calm, grown-up air, and who tends not to group with people. She tends to say mean things, glare menacingly, and is generally unsociable.
  • Chidori Takashiro
    • Katsuhira’s friend, and the class representative-type who always sees to everyone’s needs (or is nosy, if viewed negatively). Does she hold complex feelings for Katsuhira?
  • Niko Niiyama
    • A mysterious yet spontaneous girl who says she can see fairies. Her personality is clear not just in her attitude but also in her fashion.
  • Yoshiharu Hisomu
    • A handsome man with a distinct face that anyone can recognize, but he is surrounded by many mysteries. His multiple piercings and his bandaged look are extremely distinctive.Kiznaiver-Anime-Character-Designs-2

Here is the anime’s synopsis:

Set in the fictional Japanese city of Sugomori City, one day Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira: “You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver.” The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his.

The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers.

Sugomori City is built on reclaimed land. But as the years go by, the city’s population is decreasing. The story is set in this town where Katsuhira and the others live.

In an interview in the magazine, scriptwriter Okada stated that the keyword for the series is “kizuna” (connection). The title itself is a play on “kizuna” and “naive.” Okada noted that she wrote the title before the story outline.

Studio Trigger’s next anime project is the original TV anime Kiznaiver, which is currently in production. Further information about the new series will be revealed at a later date.
